Works great but you may need a second part to make it work
I like anything that seems quality made and works without any fuss. This fits the bill. One end is plugged into the receiver and the other side screws into the inside of the spur gear cover. I have the Rustler VXL, and I did need Traxxas part 6537 to make it work. I could tell I would need it at first, so I had to order it (and wait) after I couldn't get this to stay. One star for not having a clear description. On my model, the black end clips into the 6537 "T" shaped piece. The other part will be extra. The two screws attach it to the gear cover. RPM worked perfectly the first time so kudos on a product that works.

FINA STEP FOR TELEMETRY
1 of 2 final sensors I need to complete my telemetry in my slash if anyone out there is trying to do this also u will need part #6538 the spur gear magnet trigger to make it work also u would need to set up the right gearing inside of the traxxas app so u could get accurate reading it's way cheaper than the gps module wich is $60 thank u amazon great shipping can't wait to install this on my days off

Overpriced Traxxas
No problem with the quality, it’s just Traxxas telemetry is so overpriced. Just slap a SkyRC GNSS on any of your RC cars and you’ll be set.
