Unbeatable Konjac Rice – My Top Choice for Healthy, Delicious Meals
Hethstia Miracle Rice is by far my favorite konjac noodle product, and I've tried many brands, shapes, and flavors. This pack of 10 shirataki konjac rice servings is vegan, low-calorie, gluten-free, fat-free, keto-friendly, and low in carbs, making it a versatile addition to any diet. The oat flavor adds a delightful twist, making it stand out among other konjac products. The texture is perfect, and it absorbs sauces and seasonings beautifully, making every meal a joy. This rice is not just a diet-friendly option; it’s genuinely tasty and satisfying.FYI:The health benefits of konjac rice are backed by substantial medical research, particularly in relation to gut health and microbiome diversity. Konjac root contains glucomannan, a fermentable fiber that promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. This leads to improved digestive health, better nutrient absorption, and enhanced immune function. Glucomannan has been documented to reach the distal colon, where it undergoes fermentation, producing short-chain fatty acids that support colon health and reduce inflammation.tl;drIn addition to promoting a diverse and healthy microbiome, konjac rice has been associated with several other health benefits. It can aid in weight management by providing a low-calorie, filling alternative to traditional rice and pasta. The high fiber content helps regulate blood sugar levels, making it an excellent option for those with diabetes or those looking to maintain stable energy levels throughout the day.SummaryNot only a delicious choice but also a smart one for maintaining a healthy gut: it has become a staple in my kitchen, offering a perfect blend of taste, texture, and health benefits that I haven't found in any other brand.

The texture is better than the regular konjac noodles.
I've been eating konjac noodles for about a decade now. I found that a lot of these reviews aren't very helpful so this review is for people who have experience with these kinds of noodles. The oat konjac noodles do have more of an al dente spaghetti texture to them and they are thick, like thick spaghetti. As opposed to the regular konjac noodles just being very firm and almost like rice noodles that have been in the refrigerator for too long. The flavor is a little sweet, I don't know if I didn't rinse them off long enough because I'm used to not having to rinse the noodles off for very long with this brand but if you can make a sauce that overpowers that mild sweetness you'll be fine. The rice version of these might be really good for some kind of rice pudding variant. I have also tried konjac tofu noodles but I like the oat variant much better. I gave up trying to use konjac noodles for spaghetti a long time ago because the noodles weren't thick enough and didn't have the texture that I liked for spaghetti noodles but I feel like these would be good for some kind of meat sauce or marinara sauce. In the picture I used a little bit of bouillon, buldak sauce, sour cream and a slice of cheese for a healthier ramen which is what I usually how I use konjac noodles. After I'm done with the box that I ordered I will be reordering. Please remember that these are a diet food. They are going to taste like a diet food.

Just Disgustig
This was my first time trying a konjac product. It has no taste at all, which is fine with me. But the texture is gelatinous and truly disgusting. I rinsed it several times before trying it and I noticed that it wiggled like Jello. That was the first clue. One bite and I immediately threw it away. I don't know how anyone can eat this.

The best konjac on the market!
I have tried almost every type and brand of Konjac noodles available over the years, and I must say these are the best i've had. They do not have a fishy smell or taste, they are easy to fix just rinse a few times and warm them up. If you use a sauce or put them with some type of meat or broth they are great at taking up the flavor, I will say if you let them sit for a while even if its just an hour or so, they will fully take up the flavor something no other konjac has ever done for me. I actually enjoy these. I have cooked them several times once with a tomato based sauce, once with butter and hamburger with onions and garlic and it satisfied my great need and love of pasta! you will not be sorry just make sure you cook the water out of them before putting them in any sauce or stir fry etc. takes only a couple of minutes.

Kind of chewy but not bad.
If you follow the instructions and rinse them good there's no nasty smell or taste. I've heard if you cook them a little they get less chewy. Almost like Ramen but more chewy.

Pretty good.
I like the rice. I steamed it in a little water with seasoning, for about 2 minutes, drained, added a little butter and served over my stir fry. Two packets were good for about a serving or so for me. What I didn't like is that it was advertized for 10 packets but only 9 had rice. The other was what looked like mush. I would buy again but they would have to send me 11 complete packets to compensate.

These might be my favorite
Read a review about konjac rice and you'll inevitably see a comment about the smell. Most times, those reviews aren't wrong. With this brand, I haven't noticed it at all (maybe I am just getting used to it?). Typically I will flush a package of konjac rice or noodles with water before I cook with it. I have to admit, with Hethstia's rice, I have gotten lazy with that because I just don't notice the smell. Overall, taste is similar to other great brands, but I think it's the lack of smell that will keep me coming back to these. As with all konjac products, do some research on how to prepare it, many ways you could incorporate it into your everyday meals and enjoy the benefits. This though will be the one brand I recommend to others.
