I just received this vacuum food sealer. I purchased it because of the size sealing bags that it allowed. My previous vacuum sealer accepted large bags and I should add was a gift to me. This new one is really a nice addition to my style of cooking. Not only does it seal my food for storage, but it also has a marinating button that allows for the added convenience of quick marinating (16 minutes) our favorite foods. This done through a pulsing of the vacuum on the food, hence the 16 minutes. This is a lot quicker than the 30 minutes to overnight some foods require. It also allows for the sealing of containers designed for vacuum sealing. The included hose and appropriate connectors are included with the sealer. I also like that it will accommodate rolls of bags which makes it easier to select a proper size bag for food I am sealing. Interesting though, it came with a roll of bags and three different size, ready to use bags. This whole package was a great bargain! It is very easy to use and really quick in it's designed operation. Built from plastic and stainless steel, I like the ease of cleaning and storing the unit. A well designed and thought out product.

Perfect size for apartment. Easy to use. Good product so far for the price, have only used few times.

I suspect my rating will change to five stars after I have had the opportunity to use this item a few more times. It was just delivered four days ago and I just used it for the first time to pack and freeze some pork ribs from Costco. I thought hard about buying this because of some not so good reviews but I needed a new sealer and Amazon is so good about returning items that don’t meet your expectations I took a chance like I had done before with other items with questionable reviews and have had very good luck and would have missed some very good products if I’d paid attention to the negative reviews. I honestly believe some people just like to complain and find fault for some strange boost to their EGO. Even though this is made in China upon unpacking it feels solid and well made. My only comment about what was in the box is about the adapters they sent for sealing in jars. Directions gave no indication about how to obtain the sealing jars shown in the included literature. A search on Amazon and Google also gave no answers except for the availability of a mason jar sealing adapter kit for sale on Amazon that appears to work with this brand vacuum sealer. Not a big deal since I doubt I will be sealing any jars just not my thing.Back to sealing the ribs. Had seven bags to seal. First one was perfect,second one failed to seal but it was operator error since I didn’t wait for the sealing light to go out. Got to follow those directions. The remaining six bags were sealed without issue. So after I use it one more time so long as it works well I will change my rating to five stars. Plan to use it as much as I can while my return window is open. Will report if anything changes but right now I’m very happy with my purchase.

This machine does what it says!! Fits on the country perfect, made of excellent quality and functions just as it says and more! It gives a perfect seal n our summer veggies and I never worry about my food ruining because loss of seal! The cost was way less than I expected and well worth paying! The machine is super fast and I would buy again if anything ever happened to this one!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very good product. I have used it alot and have had no trouble with it. Easy to use. Bags included was a big bonus. Would recommend this vacuum sealer to family and friends.

The entire point of a vacuum sealer is to 1. Vacuum, then 2. hold that vacuum 3. Seal (as it held vacuum not letting air back in.) This thing? NOPE! No matter what mode you use that works with the bag it does this: 1. Vacuums 2. Lets air back in defeating the entire point 3. Seals - now with air pockets in your bag. I can just use a Ziploc freezer bag if that is what I want to do! This thing is absurd. It is NOT operator error, it is simply designed to function that way apparently and that is ridiculous! I have had Food Saver and Seal-a-meal and other machines out there over decades, I know how they are supposed to function. This is just junk. Read the other negative reviews, you will see the same thing said by some. I returned it. Every sealer I have ever owned holds the vacuum before sealing. This is just dumb. Waste of my time. I never even made it to the point the sealer or vacuum mechanisms stop working, which I see reviews about. They can't even get the sequence right. No thank you.

I love this product. I have had almost all types of sealers and really like this one. I use to be a Food saver person, but their machines have gotten so bad and cheap that I quit buying them. They are too costly for something that only works for a short while. Food Saver has turned into a piece of junk. This machine is great at a great price.

Great machine but please note in booklet . The lights must go off before the machine will vacuum seal . Unfortunately , I was vacuum sealing food before that happened and I returned the other machine thinking it as defected.
