Poron® Skiing Shin Guards/Protector Pads for Shinbang/Shinbite

I love to ski but struggle 2-3 days into the trip because of shin bang. I purchased these to try and I’ve never been happier with a product. These are game changers. I skied 4 days and never got shin bang. It can be almost debilitating but these work! If you suffer and are on the fence about buying, do it! You won’t be sorry!

Third season with these and its made all the difference. I was about to throw the towel in on my skiing days due to the shin pain and then I found these and now zero pain in my shins! I’m writing this review because I’m about to order another set because my son mentioned he’s starting to feel the shin pain after our last 3 day trip and I said do I have the solution for you on our next trip. I forgot I never left a review so I’m following up after searching for my past order. I have worn these inside and outside the sock and they works all the same for me. All I care about is no shin pain and an enjoyable ski trip!

I was getting shin bites from a seam in the liner. The SkiShins padded just enough to prevent the bites.Easy to use. Doesn't get soaked from sweat. Maintains thickness after multiple days. Stays in position.Only issue was the straight edges leave a crease on your skin by the end of the day. Would be better if they had a rounded edge.

I have no idea why this simple product eliminated my ski boot shin bang pain - but it did!

These are awesome and there is just no doubt. I bought atomic hawX Magnas 130 and the person who form fitted Michelle screwed everything up. Basically, they overstretched Michelle and now my boots are too big causing Shin bang. That’s $800 down the drain right? Nope! These two simple pads make all the difference in the world. I bought two packs of them and use two pads for each shin. I actually move the pads slightly down onto my foot and up as high on my shins it’ll go covering about 2 to 3 inches of my foot and the rest covers my shin. I later than one on top of the other and I follow the directions and make sure the smooth side is facing the right way. Additionally, I wear two thin socks ski socks still, but found socks, and I put these pads in between the layers of those two socks. That’s what the instructions actually say to do. So, beware of some of these one and two star reviews who clearly can’t read simple instructions. These work and they are a life changer if you want to ski more comfortably and put a final and two shin bang!If you reviewed these and said “these are terrible and caused blisters” or the even more ridiculous “a beer coozie would work better” pay close attention.

It helped with the shin rubbing but I wouldn't recommend putting it on your bare skin. I have a blistering rash at a contact point on the inside lower calf. Will have to try different ways of using these without putting directly on the skin. Chemical smell is pretty strong as well.

I would recommend these to anyone! By the end of the day my shins would hurt so bad from my boots. I have nice brand new cushy ski boots but they may be a touch too big. After using these I didn’t have any pain at all! Definitely worth the money! Would buy them over and over again.I used them exactly as instructed on the package.
