Good product
Great crate to organize and store ammunition. Just the right size to move around. Sturdy built and lockage.

Here's the dimensions
The description of the dimensions for this are weird and a bit convoluted, so here they are in picture form. If you don't intend to store ammo I grabbed a couple 15oz cans for size reference. They fit at the bottom, on their side with about 1/8th of an inch of room at the top and side, I had to pull the dividers out to get the cans out. The seal around the lid seems solid and awesome. With the dividers in it makes the lid rigid and it could probably gently hold about 200lbs, without the dividers in place, I wouldn't stand on the box. I like that you can take out one or both of the dividers and have one big box, two sections, or four sections. Overall it's a bit smaller than I thought it would be just because I couldn't figure out which dimensions were for which axis, but now we all know. It seems like a well made sturdy box. Oh, and the handles on both sides feel comfortable to grab, rounded edges so nothing digs in if you're carrying heavy ammo. I have pretty small hands but the space for your fingers is pretty spacious if you have bigger hands/fingertips.

Plano case
Case is awesome like how it’s modular it can go from one big case to 2 different compartments or 4 individual sections only thing I wish it had was a handle on top instead of side handles besides that it’s sturdy strong and looks awesome

Better than MTM "crates"!
I used to buy a lot of the MTM AC11 ammo cans, but they changed it a few years ago, and the handle comes off if you put more than 30lbs of ammo in them. The older ones held 40 pounds no problem. So I bought the MTM crates and they were really flimsy and bent with thin plastic. Now this Plano Tactical series crate is MUCH better than the MTM crates. It is more durable and does NOT flex. It is 40% larger inside than the MTM AC11 and it can really take 80+ pounds. I have 65 pounds in it now with 9mm & 357 (with single divider to separate calibers) and it does not look like it has phased the integrity of the crate at all. It can fit more but I will probably not go up to 80 lbs because of issues with my back.., but it is still twice the weight and ammo I can put in an AC11 before the handle falls off and the can breaks my foot. I am ordering a couple of more of these Plano crates.

Great for 3D printer filament storage
After looking at a lot of different moisture tight containers for filament storage, I ended up going with these. They're relatively expensive compared to the more popular containers, and don't hold as many spools, but worth it because unlike those popular cheap ones, these ACTUALLY SEAL. I've been using these for about a year now, and they work brilliantly. Each box is perfectly sized to hold four 1kg spools with a little room on the side for a desiccant box. The problem with the common cheap "weathertight" boxes everyone uses is they all have a slight air gap in the seal along the long axis, because mold-shrink during manufacturing creates a slight bow on the long axis, and the only clasps are usually on the short axis. I looked over a bunch of different "weathertight" plastic bins at different stores, and literally every single container that was rectangular and had clasps only on the short sides had this problem. The larger the container, the worse the issue was. I can only speculate that most people who buy those aren't actually inspecting them, and/or are ignoring such issues because they're cheap. This model of Plano container avoids that via it's placement of the hinge and clasps. The lid seal is well clamped on all sides when closed, with no unclasped areas long enough for the plastic shrinking/bowing during manufacture to cause a gap. Even most other plastic ammo containers you can see here on Amazon have the design problem with clasps only in the middle of the short sides that makes me think they won't actually be airtight. The only flaw these containers have (for my use case) has been the problem others have mentioned with the clips popping off when weight is placed on the lid. This ONLY happens if the lid is lowered with the latches already in a down position, then left loosely closed without actually engaging the latches. This is because the bottom edge of the latches have a squared off profile that will sit flat atop the latch bar, instead of and outward swooping underside edge. If the latches are allowed to rest atop the bar, and weight is placed on the lid, the latches are pushed directly up, popping them off there hinges, instead of simply swinging outward like they would if there was a slant or curve to the underside edge. As long as you remember to either close the latches, or manually swing them out just enough to clear the bar when keeping the lid loosely closed, this won't happen. If the latches are actually closed, they won't pop off, as nothing will be pushing them up (the bar will be above the hook instead of below. I've included a close up pic of the latch so you can hopefully see what I'm describing. Since this flaw is easy to avoid, and this is literally the ONLY box of this size and form factor I could find that is actually properly designed to seal, short of massive overkill stuff like Pelican cases, I don't consider it a big issue.

Perfect size
If you're looking for a box for a PCP air compressor this one is exactly the right size nice quality also for the money it'll protect it pretty well from getting damaged put a little foam in there works great have enough room for the hoses the cord and the extra air filter that everybody needs for a PCP compressor setup it's rated for 85 lb so it is way under stressed in this application

These are my go to
I can't say enough good things about these Plano, ammo crates. They are great for just about anything you want to keep in them. Plus they can be locked up and water, can't get in. It's also built to last

I wasn’t expecting this box to be such good quality at this price, item arrived quickly and well packaged. I would definitely recommend it.

For the price I found this to be an excellent gear box. Dividers (which can be removed if larger items need to be carried) add utility and internal bracing strength for stacking. Well built lid with 2 solid latches. Water resistant enough for our needs.

Produit conforme est grand . Après ça a l’air solide mais pour l’étanchéité je n’ai pas testé on verra sur le long terme

This box is extremely sturdy, no flex at all. Fits 20 boxes of 12ga very snug with dividers out, 16 comfortably if you leave them in. Fits more than you would in two 50 cal steel cans for the price of 1 steel can. it is bulkier than the steel cans if you want to put in your safe. Overall very nice.
