My Go-To for Delicious Coffee (and Occasional Chocolate Milk!) - 5 Stars!
I'm happy to give a full 5-star review to Hershey's Dark Chocolate Syrup! This has become an absolute staple in my kitchen, primarily for elevating my morning coffee routine.A few squirts into my hot coffee makes it a dark chocolate mocha, and the flavor is consistently rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. It blends in perfectly, and I look forward to that touch of indulgence every day.Occasionally, I'll use it for a classic chocolate milk, and it's just as good there – the dark cocoa provides a deeper, more sophisticated chocolate taste compared to regular chocolate syrups. It's versatile, easy to use, and delivers that familiar, comforting Hershey's quality. For its excellent flavor, ease of use, and versatility, especially for coffee lovers, this dark chocolate syrup is a definite winner!

Just YES.
I was so happy to find this. I really like to make an intensely chocolatey shake with unsweetened cocoa powder and cashew or almond milk, then sweeten it just a bit with syrup (I drink black coffee and tea too, so I don't aim for very sweet). This darker syrup helps keep the dark-chocolate flavor I'm after without making it taste so mild and milk-chocolatey like regular choco syrup does. I prefer the Hersey's one over others I've tried (Ghirardelli also makes a dark one, and I think I found another way back when, maybe by Torani). It's kind of hard to find this in stores, so I'm glad Amazon Fresh had it. This is branded as Special Dark on the label (despite the more generic wording of the Amazon listing's title), and I can't say that it tastes exactly like the Special Dark choco candy, but it's definitely closer than the regular syrup is.This would be very good for other purposes that call for choco syrup, like baking, topping ice cream, making candy or cheesecake, and so on, if you want a richer flavor. Will probably also go good with protein powders to make them palatable. The cloying "dairyness" of whey protein in particular will probably be cut a bit by using this more intense syrup, and it might even disguise the less-pleasant-than-chocolate kind of bitterness that casein powder has, as well as the excessively vegetal tastes of various vegan powders.
