Edited Review: 3 stars -> 5 starsOk, so based on my original review below after 6y of owning the clock and buying a 2nd clock I was so surprised they sent me an email based on my review and sent me a replacement sensor. The new sensor paired immediately with the clock on Ch 1 and is also the newer model which has a small LCD display on it.Now this is just amazing service honestly. I mean, after so many years, they still supported me this way.I liked their product that this was my 2nd purchase of it. Now I'm going to go ahead and support them and have gotten a couple more folks to buy this product via Amazon simply because this sort of support is just amazing.The sensor is paired and now projecting the outdoor temp again on the night ceiling and I no longer have the "--" after months of this. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to have things that now work as intended and the little joy it gives you. Thank you SmartPro.Original Review: So I bought this product because honestly there is no other product that is equivalent to it. It can project indoor and outdoor temp (via a remote sensor) and it has multiple colors or turn it off for no glare at night and reversible projection display (red color only) and it works wonderfully.Sadly one day the outdoor sensor just randomly died and stopped functioning. This was after I bought this unit a 2nd time having used it before. The best part was the outdoor temp honestly.Also the main LCD display got all weird but as long as it projects I'm good with it.Still will likely buy it again for the 3rd time simply for the nice indoor + outdoor temp cycle and excellent wall projection of time. Very useful at night. Shockingly I don't see other products that can do this.

awesome alarm clock that is uncomplicated. It does everything it says and the small size is great as well yetstill very visible both in projection and LCD screen.I highly recommend it if looking for a projection clock. the outside and inside temp is very helpuful the way the display rotates.

I ordered this projector clock to replace a different model I had for nearly a decade when the outside sensor fell and got water soaked.When the product first arrived and I went through the clear step by step process to set it up, I noticed the projection on the ceiling was missing pixels and failed to display the temperatures correctly if at all. In the included instruction manual they suggested that if this was an issue to reach out to their Customer Service via a phone number and an email address. I did both and sent a photo of the projection issue in the email. Within hours I got a reply telling me they would replace the device. I asked if they would be sure to test it before shipping to make sure it was operational as expected. They said they would and a day or so later I got confirmation the shipment was on its way.It came sooner than expected, and installed and displayed the projection perfectly. Very impressed.The only two items I wish this device had was a time sync to the radio time clock my old device had to keep the time accurate throughout the year.... and the ability to rotate the projection display in 90 degree adjustments rather than just 180 degree adjustment. Otherwise I'd give this a 5 Star instead of a 4. But the display is bright and switches the temperature display between indoor & outdoor while still showing current time... while my older device only projected time and outdoor temp.Thanks again to Smartro's Customer Service, Janice in particular.... 5 Stars for Customer Service.

The Smartro digital projection clock is by far the best we have purchased to date.If you consider buying the Smartro vs Oregon Scientific – BUY THE SMARTRO.During the years we have been buying several from Oregon Scientific and La Crosse. At the time it was the most appealing choices, but the Oregon and La Crosse clocks fails one way or the other after a year or two. Navigating the menu on the Oregon was a nightmare (same goes for the Oregon alarm settings).The Smartro has 3 year warranty!!!The Smartro has a better feel, easier to navigate and setup. The projection can be seen clearly even after the sun is up.It has two alarms THAT YOU TURN ON WITH PHYSICAL SLIDING SWITHES – THANK YOU.(No more messing around and waking up at 5 AM on a Sunday)I also like that the Smartro let you select any display color from a multitude of colors. I prefer red as it does not affect my night vision and are traditionally found in airplane cockpits. There are many choices; greenish-blue is also great for night “navigation”.You can expect the accuracy of the thermometers to be around 1 degree C.I had a question from Smartro tech support (using the contact information inserted in the box).I have to say WOW, they respond quickly, intelligently and to the point.UPDATEI forgot to mention that the size and brightness of the projected time is very large (digits 6 to 8 inches tall) and bright.You can even see the projection in daylight.Also if you have a dark colored wall or ceiling you can clearly see projection.I didn't think I needed the USB charger, but it works great, fairly fast and clears up the clutter on the nightstand.Now I always wake up to a fully charged phone.

I didn’t think I would like this little clock, but the inside and outside temp display is great, as well as the quality of the projection, very clear and easy to read. So far keeps decent time, I’m 3 months in. I would recommend this clock/projector.

The SMARTRO SC31B Digital Projection Alarm Clock has some great features like the weather station and outdoor thermometer, but it’s so lightweight that when I plug in my phone to charge using the USB port, the whole clock tips over. It’s a bit frustrating for a bedside clock. Works well otherwise, but the design could be sturdier
