It works!!!
I adopted 2 kittens from a cat rescue charity and there were absolutely no problems with them using the litter tray. However Felix injured her paw and it became infected. She began using the litter tray only to pee, and pooing on the carpet. Even when the paw was fully healed, she still was pooing on the carpets and I was struggling to keep up with the shampooing. I tried more litter trays, different litter and different depths of litter without success too. This litter instantly made a difference - no further carpet poos. The only issue is that if I leave the box out, she is trying to break into it to get to the litter! This litter is on the expensive side but it clumps well and lasts so you can just keep topping it up. There isn't a strong smell from the litter either whilst new and fresh, or once it's in the tray. On balance for us, it's a price worth paying for a happy cat and clean carpets!

It works for us! (Owners do a Happy Dance!)
We have an indoor cat who has refused to use his litter tray for several months. We're at our wits end. We've tried everything to get him back into his tray (including: specialist cleaning products; every different type of cat litter available; puppy pads and washable pee mats; and even going as far as to replacing the flooring where we keep his tray). This product is not cheap, but was our last resort; I also bought a brand new tray, and disposed of the previous under-mat we were using. I also purchased the herbal attractant powder from the same manufacturer, and gave an extra sprinkle - just to be belt-and-braces about it. Within thirty seconds of the new setup, the cat was having a good sniff, then a dig, then he urinated in the box!! He sauntered off as if this wasn't actually causing me to do a happy dance and make up a silly little song... then returned to the tray a few minutes later to have another dig and then soil it! It has been a week so far, and every single toileting has been in the box with zero issues. I'm genuinely amazed!!!! And utterly delighted!!!!! The litter is super clumpy very quickly, so it is easy to scoop a patch of urine out and away to the bin. Make sure you add a good 3-4cm of litter, as this stuff will weld itself to the bottom of the tray if there isn't enough depth. I don't know what the secret ingredient is, or how it works. But I will gladly keep purchasing it!

A good litter but wasn’t the miracle I’d hoped for
I bought this as a Hail Mary, as one of my foster cats eliminates all over the house. It certainly does what it says on the tin , as all cats were interested in it as soon as I brought the box in. At first I could smell a sandalwood-like smell that was fairly pleasant but after a few hours I couldn’t smell anything at all. I didn’t have an issue of it sticking to the tray, and it was easy to clean. They have been using it, especially at first, but the novelty seemed to wear off and they have been preferring the other trays with wood pellets. It is expensive and probably only lasts as long as a bag of pellets. It does encourage them to use the tray and maybe works better for some cats than others but it wasn’t the miracle I had hoped for. Still a good litter though. No smell; quick and easy to clean.

Litter has changed for the worse - less clay, more dust.
The manufacturer has changed the consistency of the litter. It looks like they have added another ingredient that's given it a lighter, more brown colour and it now produces so much more dust. It's as if they've added a bulking agent to pad out the clay. My cat has definitely noticed the difference and has started using the tray less - a problem that we originally bought this litter to address.

Life saving!
Okay maybe not completely life saving but close enough. I have had my cat for 14 years now (photo included), she’s never had an issue with her litter tray before until a few weeks ago she was acting strangely to go out outside, desperation, after an hour I eventually let her out (it was late at night), she went to the toilet outside which is strange for her, she never does that, she was point blank refusing to use her litter tray. No changes, nothing different. I realised it had been 12hrs of no toileting (since I had changed her tray and hadn’t been used). After a few days of this (she’s holding it all in overnight etc, so 8+ hours without going to the toilet) I booked a vet appointment, I also ordered this cat litter. Well it saved me on vet fees and cat therapy. I just mixed some of this litter in with her old litter and off she went, I’m now just adding a handful into her tray at each litter change to keep her using it. It has no smell, and obviously the quality of whatever secret stuff they put in is working wonders. Can’t comment on clumping or odor control as it’s not the main litter being used. It is horrific for tracking everywhere though. It sticks to her paws and it literally goes everywhere, it’s on my sofa, on the floor… but for now I would rather that than her holding it in. I will cut down on this and see if it fixes everything but this has really helped with whatever behavioural issues were going on so it’s a 9/10 for me (litter everywhere is yuck so -1 for that).

I have recently had a little bit of a problem with one of my cats urinating outside of the litter box. I clean the litter everyday, have an extra litter box for every cat we have, and make sure that the areas are maintained. I have 3 cats, one of them a new addition which is one of the reasons why the one cat may have been stressed and going outside of the litter boxes despite what I mentioned before. I found that this product was supposed to attract and train (and re-train) cats to use litter boxes and it did not disappoint. My cat has been going back in the litter box and I have had no more accidents outside of them. A couple things to keep in mind when using this is that people that have used this product before have mentioned their cats peeing on the bag or box of the cat attract, so make sure to store in a place where it will not be accessible to them. In terms of litter, it is fantastic as it has proven to be almost entirely dust-free. I've had previous litters claiming that they are 99% dust-free (I forget the brand), but this one takes the cake. There is almost no dust kicked up from use so dusting off nearby objects is less of a hassle. The clumping is fast and stays together, which is an unexpected surprise from this litter. And there is little to no tracking of the litter outside of the litter boxes as the shapes of the litter bits are irregularly shaped yet comfortable for a cat's paws. My cats often had litter stuck to the bottom due to either fluffy paws or deep grooves in between their paw pads, but this litter had very few instances where I found it all over the place, which is another unexpected plus from this product. Overall, I am happy with the results of the litter as it solved the problem I faced and gave a couple more benefits as well. Pros: - Cats no longer go outside the litter box - Clumping is phenomenal and clumps fast - Virtually dust-free - Little to no tracking of the litter on the paws of my cats - Effective in attracting cats to litter boxes Cons: - Little to no odor control, so clean often (at least once in the morning and once in the evening) Tips: - Get the 20lb litter pack just to use as a test trial, then go bigger if it works for you - Watch a couple of videos of Jackson Galaxy (the man from "My Cats from Hell") and look up similar videos of cat accidents outside of litter boxes to find out exactly what may be going on. He knows his stuff - Spread out the litter boxes to areas of accidents, even if it is the bedroom. No excuses. Would you rather be cleaning up urine/feces out of the carpet or out of a litter box? Your choice - Clean areas of urine/feces by using whatever method proven to be effective. I use 50% warm water, 50% distilled vinegar for eliminating ammonia, apply to area, after about 5-10 minutes soak up with a wet vacuum or blot with paper towel after, apply baking soda to get rid of smell, then vacuum dried baking soda (may take a couple of weeks) and use a hard bristle brush to loosen baking soda stuck on the carpet. For stronger smells of prolonged urine stains, add hydrogen peroxide with the baking soda to kill the bacteria. It has worked in eliminating the smell and hidden stains (use a UV light) all together. - Add one litter box more than the number of cats you have. Ex) 3 cats = 4 litter boxes, etc. - Lastly, gradually move the litter boxes out of the areas if you want to move them, but only a couple of feet per week or two. Too much change can and will stress them out, causing them to revert back to their accidents in previous areas. Hope this helps those with similar problems!

I use this with an automatic litter box, it has low dust, clumps really well and has mostly solved a fussy cat going outside the box now and again. Great product, very happy!
