If you are thinking of buying, you should definitely spend the extra money for this set of headphones. The product is light weight and does not bother my ears. The boom mic is excellent. My wife always complained about being able to hear me on my old (other brand) of headphones. I tried calling in the car wash and the other end could not hear all the racket that was going on with the blowers and spray nozzles. Even took out most wind noise, standing outside in the wind. Comes with a nice case, battery life has been great. I have been able to go 3 to 4 days listening to music and talking. The app is nice but does not have a lot of options for EQ. Pretty much music or talking are your two options. I have not had issues with it vibrating my face off when talking to people on the phone. And like I said tried it in the car wash and was able to hear the person on the other end just fine. The music volume is pretty loud as well. I run it as low as I can and it is a little loud sometimes to hear things in the room. Connects instantly when turned on. Definitely worth the money. Only complaint would be the pictures in the product description are a little different than the actual device. Mine uses USB-C to charge not the magnetic charger.

Easy to setup, easy to use, perfect for my construction working dad. Sound quality is crazy good, type C charging is always a plus, and the microphone quality is wonderful. A bit expensive, but it's a great investment for clear calls in noisy environments. Glad this product exists.

I was going to return this item because it was missing the charging cord and the instructions. But then it dawned on me. I have 1 million of these charging USB cords laying around and I can get the instructions off of their website. So I tried it and I love this headset. Glad I decided to keep it. Almost sent it back. Definitely worth every penny and they are super comfortable and the sound quality is excellent.

I had the previous version for about 2.5 years, heavy almost religious use out of it. This one swapped the microphone and button on me, which breaks the muscle memory I've built. The lack of cusomizable equalizer hurts a bit. On the music eq setting, there is a high pitch that hurts my ears when listening to videos not music related. the voice eq drastically drops it, but it's still there and far more prevelant that the previous Opencomm 1 Other than that. It does as advertised. Long battery life, great background noise cancellation for the mic. lightweight I forget it's there. For how much I used the last ones, these will get mostly equal use so it's a great value for me. They get used at minimum 10hrs every day and charged up quickly with a usb-C charger instead of the proprietary one of the first opencomm.

I'll never use an over the head style headset again! These are by far the best headset I've ever had. I'm a truck driver and only use them for phone calls not music etc... I like that I can still hear everything around me without anything covering my ears. I can wear a hat and sunglasses with ease. They will not fall off, super light weight for all day wear. And you don't look like you're working at a fast food drive through😂. A little pricey imo, but I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought the "OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade" version without the "Loop120" USB dongle. This headset connects to all my devices using Bluetooth. The audio quality is great, and I really like this headset when it's working properly. Unfortunately, with Microsoft Teams conference calls, the mute button mutes both the mic and the speaker so I can't listen to the other people in the meeting while on mute -- more like putting the meeting on pause. The mute button seems to work properly in Zoom calls but not over Teams. I was hoping this issue with Teams calls would have been fixed with a firmware update, but... There doesn't seem to be any way to update the firmware on this headset as of May 2025. I've had phone calls and email exchanges with Shokz support and no solution so far on how to update the firmware. The Shokz app for iOS iPhone says that this headset model is not supported. I have no idea if the Android app supports this headset because I don't own an Android phone. The Shokz Connect software for Windows and Mac computers requires the 'Loop120' or some other USB adapter in order to connect to the headset -- the software does not recognize the headset when it's connected to the computer via bluetooth or with the included USB-C cable. I don't have the USB dongle, so I can't test it, but I assume you can update the headset firmware if you have the dongle. The product page says this headset works with Windows and Mac computers and iOS iPhones. It's true that it connects via bluetooth to these devices, but there seems to be no way to update the firmware on the headset without the dongle, which I didn't buy because I thought I could just use bluetooth. Great overall headset design in terms of audio quality and overall experience talking on the phone, but I'd like the mute issue with Teams to be fixed and I'd like to be able to update the firmware.

These are awesome for work. Works well for TEAMs meetings. Sound is great, works with hearing protection. Lightweight, comfortable for all day wear.

Its super nice and comfortable and works great but my battery keeps dying and its constantly disconnecting from my phone

Excellent Product. Clear audio and clear speech. My one learning with product is that does not work well in noisy environments like airports or airplanes in flight, had to switch to AirPods. Good range of connectivity between phone and device for person that forgets their device on a desk or another room. Calls don’t always bounce to Shoks when incoming but easy to transfer. Battery Life is a over 12 h of standby and use for phone calls and 8-10 hours for music, audiobooks etc. Generally very pleased and would recommend

5* for calls, 3* for audio, 5* for battery, 5* mute on the mic boom, 5* the boom itself. Transmitted mic background noise needs improvement on Android The best device out there in my opinion. I ceded the first sample and got the 25upg usbc. Good - yet the dual connection needs to stay off - even without the dongle connected, the connection to the phone would be unstable, requiring to reconnect multiple times. I leave the 5 stars but will try to open a case with Shokz

Top product, draagt erg prettig. Je voelt m bijna niet. Erg duidelijk met gesprek en je verliest niet t contact met de buitenwereld door de open bone constructie. Top !!!!
