This has been a useful tool and is of good quality

Very useful to finish the parts of dovetail joints that other chisels can't reach. Also it can be hit with a mallet without any damage to itself.

Could be balanced better

Handle too big for a 3mm chisel, poorly balanced. Wouldn't buy again.

This chisel is very sharp immediately at delivery unlike some good packages of chisels dressed in boxes which need a good hone on a waterstone before the off. The feel is positive, and when using a mallet gently gives a good account of itself. There is soft feedback, and it delivers a rapid cut when pushed by hand, which needs to be controlled or backed up to prevent "break out". Very pleasing to use.

Bought for guitar making. A bit of a polish before first use and it cuts ebony and hard woods easily.

excellent tool , lived up to my expectacions

All my chisels are Marples ,difficult to find an 3mm one in stores but am impressed with this definitely ,just needs a slight stroke or two on a diamond sharpener and you're good to go , 5/5 stars !

Es un formon de muy buena calidad, es muy bueno para trabajar con cosas pequeñas. y los cortes son precisos.

Como digo parece que el acero con el que esta hecho es bueno y el mango agradable y preparado para golpearle pero es pesado y teniendo en cuenta que es un formon de 3 mm el peso entre el mango y la hoja del formon no está muy compensado. Otro problema que tiene por lo menos el mio es que la hoja del formon no está a 90 grados por ningún lado (este formon no tiene la parte superior biselada, es totalmente rectangular ) es como un cincel de mortaja, aunque esto para mi no es un problema. Una vez bien afilado cumple bien su función.

La sezione dello scalpello non è un rettangolo ma un parallelogramma: è tutto fuori squadra. Inutilizzabile.

Cumple su función. Tamaño adecuado. Mango muy pesado.
