I read “A Fate Inked in Blood” by Danielle Jensen earlier this year and was ✨OBSESSED✨ and desperate for more. When I found out Jensen had another series out and completed, I just had to get my hands on it, so I immediately preordered the new paperback copy of “The Bridge Kingdom,” and what a fantastic decision it was.This book had me hooked from the very first chapter. I was enamored by our FMC, Lara. She had such depth and strength, from the very beginning, and I enjoyed experiencing this world through her eyes so so much. The romance was slow-burn and so sweet and so good. Aren, our MMC was extremely honorable and chivalrous, right from the very beginning, and the way that he treated Lara with so much respect and decency, I was swooning, I can’t lie. There were so many elements in this book that just kept it climbing higher and higher on my rating scale. From the side characters on Aren’s honor guard, to the unveiling of layers between our FMC and MMC, to the personal growth in our characters, the fun and lighthearted scenes, and more, I just absolutely adored this book and I am soooo antsy to pick up the next book cause that cliffhanger? Holy cow🐮🪽

Que dire, je vous recommande cette pépite, parce que WowIci on a un vrai personnage féminin badass, elle est intelligente, c’est une guerrière, elle est clairement pas la pour rigoler. Et en même temps , elle a cette empathie et la jugeote qui font qu’elle est vraiment d’un level supérieur.Aren lui, est tout simplement, le roi guerrier et protecteur. Stratège avec un grand cœur. Lui aussi, il est pas là pour jouer au cartes 😂Ce que j’ai adoré c’est la psychologie des protagonistes et leurs évolutions.Mais aussi l’intrigue, on sait qu’on cours à la catastrophe tout le long de l’histoire, on est sur le fils. Des choses se passent, les conséquences s’en suivent, et l’auteure a vraiment réussis à bien gérer tout ça.J’attends vraiment le tome 3. Pour ceux qui pourraient être intéressés le niveau de l’anglais est assez facile.

This book was so enticing! I couldn’t put it down. I’m always a fan of enemies to lovers and strong female characters. The world building was perfect and it’s written at a great pace. Not too slow.Totally recommend it.
