Worth. Every. Dime.
At first I was afraid, I was petrified…Sorry, not entirely. Since I didn’t know anything about this brand, I was skeptical to say the least. But to save $300+, I was willing to take a chance. The iGSport BSC300 Bicycle Computer is a feature-packed device designed for both casual riders and serious cyclists. After testing it extensively, I found it to be a solid choice for tracking rides and improving performance at less than half the price of major brands. TLDR: Totally worth it, don’t think twice about buying it. For those wanting the long and short: Pros: 1. Ease of Use: The setup process is straightforward, with clear instructions provided in the manual. Its intuitive interface ensures that you can get started without hassle. 2. Functionality: This device offers a variety of features, including speed tracking, distance measurement, wattage, heart rate, GPS tracking (when paired to your smartphone) and cadence monitoring. 3. Build Quality: Compact and lightweight, the BSC300 is built to withstand rough conditions, featuring a water-resistant design. 4. Battery Life: A single charge lasts several weeks, even with frequent use, making it reliable for extended trips. 5. Works for Indoor Training: It can easily be configured to work with your indoor trainer. 6. Compatibility: It works with every device I’ve attempted to connect with it. No-name heart rate sensor? Yep. Chinese power meter cranks (Magene)? Yep. SEEMEE R300 radar light? No problem. Unknown cadence sensor? Of course! Everything just connects and is easy to find on this device! 7. Saves Workouts: The iGSport BSC300 saves your workouts which you can review at a later time, or take the information and use however you’d like. 8. App Support: If you download the app for this bicycle computer, it allows you to tailor each screen’s layout giving you the freedom to focus on only the metrics your care about while removing unnecessary information from your view. The information you remove can still be tracked and viewed by you though! Such a cool bike computer, seriously. 9. Metric or Imperial: It's your call. 'Murican miles or European kilometers. It's easy to change in the menu of items. Cons: 1. Display Brightness: While the display is clear during the day, it can be challenging to read under direct sunlight even with the backlight at 100%. 2. Advanced Features: Some advanced metrics, such as power meter integration, may not be as robust compared to higher-end models. However, it does track your power output and reads it in real-time if you have power meter pedals or cranks. So, to me, this isn't even a concern, but it might be for you. 3. Initial Calibration: The first-time calibration can take some effort, especially for new users unfamiliar with bicycle computers. But don’t worry, the app has you covered and will help you get it up and running and setup to the configurations that you prefer! Overall, the BSC300 delivers excellent value for its price point. It strikes a balance between essential features and user-friendly functionality, making it an excellent companion for riders of all skill levels. I’m not a pro rider, but I can breakdown each of my rides like the pros and see how well my performance is improving, or maybe not improving, depending on how much I drink the night before… Long story short, the iGSport BSC300 is a godsend in a world of overpriced electronic fitness devices to help you see how you’re training. 5 stars all day long, and I would buy it again. In fact, I have. I own two of these bicycle computers on two different road bikes. For the price, you can’t go wrong!

Great Value, Checks All Of The Boxes
Early impressions after 5 rides: This is a great replacement for my old Garmin Edge 820. It performs better than expected, especially considering the entry-level price. The documentation is lacking, but a user manual online provided a much better explanation of features. The display is clear with plenty of customization. All my sensors connected immediately. It boots up quickly and is ready to go. Ride uploads are seamless, and I share them via Strava. After 8 hours of riding, I still have 20% battery remaining – 10x better than my old Garmin. My only wish is the ability to download 3rd party data fields.

Good product at budget price
I am replacing a Garmin 800 series computer after the touch screen stopped responding. So far it has been working better than I have expected. The touch screen is responsive and easy to read but a bit on the small side. Navigation works but does not recalculate. The battery life is okay for an all day ride. Daylight brightness at 30-50% and 20-30% at night. USB-C charging is fast, 5 volt charger is recommended to prevent battery damaged. It works for my needs and for the price I would buy it again.

A great bike computer
I haven't used all the features on this yet but what I have used is great. The GPS is accurate to within about 10 to 15 feet and will direct you to your destination if you use it for that. If you stop for a break it will pause tracking, then pick up when you start riding again without needing any interaction from the rider. What I like most is the ease of use. To start a ride, just put it in training mode, tap the screen for the menu, and tap the start icon. When you're done, tap the screen, then tap the checkered flag icon. As soon as you open the app on your phone it automatically uploads your ride to the website where you can inspect your stats (you need to register an account on the IGSport website for this and have an Internet connection, of course). I bought a heart monitor to use with this and that's included with other stats along with a map of my ride on the website. Below are screenshots from the website

Perfect bike computer
Amazing product, the speed sensor attached to the wheel hub even comes with a rubber cover, that was a really nice surprise. The device is super responsive and connects seemly to the bike computer. Something I notice is that thanks to the cadence and speed sensors the auto pause is absolutely superb.

A great computer at a great price
I was looking at Garmin computers because I have other Garmin products and have been happy with them but I had to be honest with myself and decide if I really wanted to spend $300+ for a computer with added features I'd never use. I'm very happy with the BSC300T, it has all the features I'd want in a computer in a small, lightweight package. Setup and pairing was a breeze using the iGPSORT app and I was surprised to see that all the maps have been preloaded (its seems some older BSC300 units required them to be uploaded). The touchscreen on this newer model (BSC300T) makes navigation through the menus very easy. It's also important to note that the touch screen model now has the charge port on the rear of the computer as opposed to the underside which means the unit can be charged without removing it from the bike (depending on how you have it mounted). This one gets my recommendation.

Not really for MTB
I've used this bike computer for two mountain bike trail rides so far, and it works pretty well but the mapping feature is pretty lacking on trails. You can add the routes in Strava and sync them to the device (had to upgrade my Strava to do so) but the maps are very primitive and are hard to read. Considering this was the feature I was most looking forward to having on this bike computer, I am disappointed. I was much better off using my phone and trailforks. Bummer.
