The lights are well worth the money these aren't your normal led strips, also not self adhesive themselves, instead there are brackets that are attached to your monitor with adhesive pads and the lights fit snuggly into them. The effects in the product pictures is legit what it does, the backlight matches what's on screen almost perfectly really makes for an immersive gaming and movie experience. The only reason I don't rate it 5 stars is because the app, while not a system resource hog, does have flaws. Sometimes it doesn't detect the lights and it almost always crashes if left open long enough. Besides that, this is a awesome addition to my setup for some much needed ambience.
