Good product

Since new HP cartridges cost about $80 a office supply stores, I was a little apprehensive to purchase this product thinking it wouldn't work at all. After Igot around the wierd packiaging (looks different than the HP) and got it installed it worked just fine, not great but good. 2 issues that are a little different with this product from the HP - 1) The print is a little bit lighter than the HP, not much but it is somewhat noticeable 2) there is no sensor chip to inform you of when the cartridge is low like the HP has (a message window popped up when it was installed and said that this chip was missing and my PC could not calculate remaining ink like the HP does) - for the cost difference $65 +/- less than the HP, I can live with these issues. I have purchased 2 of these and the first one is still going strong thru approx. 700-800 pages, I am not sure how many pages I will get but I will update this post when it runs out. Overall this product, even with it's minor short-comings is well worth the money saved from buying the manufacturer product.

I have an HP LaserJet P1006, and I bought this toner for the sole purpose of printing coupons from the internet. I was very skeptical of this toner at first because of the mixed reviews, but I decided to take the risk and purchase it. I have already printed and redeemed coupons worth the cost of this toner several times over, so I am satisfied. The quality is very good and is still a deep black color after a few months of use. For the cost, it's definitely worth it. When I first put the toner in, it was printing with bad streaks, but that was because there was a piece of paper inside that needed to be removed. Please make sure to check to make sure the paper is removed if you're having this problem. After it was removed, the print quality was excellent. Highly recommended.***UPDATE*** I purchased this product on August 26th, 2013. I have been doing A LOT of printing and today is April 24th, 2014. It's still printing just like the first day I popped the cartridge in my printer. I'm only here to order as a backup, cause I don't want to be left hanging if it should go out suddenly. This is very much worth the money!

bought on a whim after reading a few reviews (good and bad ones). price seemed reasonable. i just didn't have $70 budgeted this week to buy direct from HP. first time i've ever bought any kind of discount replacement ink/toner that wasn't garbage or a rip off. (I'll never take anything to one of those refill places again.) pages are printing fine and clear, installed quickly without any real fuss. (I didn't exactly know how to replace it as i've had the same cartridge forever and rarely ever used my printer. also the first time i went to put it in i kinda crammed it in there and i had to google how to do it right but that's on me, i just sort of went for it.) My HP P1006 recognizes it as genuine HP, and everything is working normal. Kinda wish i'd ordered it under my dad's prime account for the free two-day shipping--the list price is about half what i paid as the shipping was a dollar more than the cost of the product itself, but this was worth fifteen dollars. I can't really complain. I'd definitely buy it again.

I've used a couple of these toner cartridges and think they're a great deal for the money. Excellent coverage. As good as the original as far as I'm concerned. One time I had to delete and reinstall my driver software for my printer to recognize the cartridge. But it was no big deal as it's a quick install and the driver is available online. When I reinstalled the driver, I received a message that an original HP cartridge was installed. Hmm, works for me.Here is an update. I have purchased several of these HP compatible toner cartridges and have been relatively satisfied. However, think that the last one I received was made by a different manufacturer because the packaging is different and the quality is TERRIBLE. I can barely read the print. I guess for the price it's worth the gamble. But if you absolutely have to have the best quality it probably makes sense to go with OEM cartridges. I know I'm going back.

I can only think of a few things more frightening than ordering refurbished toner packs. Sadly this is the second one I have ordered in a week. The other (from a different company selling through Amazon)was a dud, did not fit as described, made loud noise and printed the entire page black. Today, I am happy. I felt as though I was playing a live game of Russian Roulette when ordering from all the choices Amazon had to offer.Pros:+ Price! What a steal?+ The item was identified as OEM product by the HP P1106.+ It was advertised as a compatible cartridge to the HP CB435A-- and it was.+ The ink is black not gray, as some reviewers have stated in their analysis.+ No markings on the page of any kind as others have had problems.+ No clicking and other weird actions and messages by the computer or printer.+ Toner adheres to the page and appears to be sharp even when printing images.Cons:- There are none!I'm excited about all the money I saved, especially being a PRIME member! 2nd. Day shipping is a no brainer.

I agree with the reviewers who state the printing results are not as high quality as an OEM cartridge would provide. The new toner cartridge has left small dark marks on the right side of some pages; every page seems to have a new and different small flaw. I have not experienced fading, and am able to use the toner for everyday use. If I needed to print a resume, I would have to use a different toner cartridge. My printer is almost new and has not had problems before, so I know it's not a printer issue. I have also used non-OEM toner cartridges on different printers before, without less-than-perfect results.The savings between this cartridge and an OEM are so great that I would buy again.
