We use this glucometer for my diabetic cat. It is extremely easy to use. The accuracy has been tested multiple times by checking his blood sugar before bringing him to the vet and at the vet and they are pretty close to the same number. I found that it was more cost effective to buy the whole new glucometer kit when it’s time to reorder test strips. This is my second glucometer, with the first being used almost daily for a year and I never had to change the batteries. The quality of this glucose monitor is unmatched for the price!

As a diabetic, it never hurts to have a second glucose monitor that you can keep with you in your car or in your work bag. The problem is, it’s so expensive to buy the needles and test strips for many of these major brand monitors.Recently, I decided to go to Amazon to try and find a monitor that I could pick up at a great price and that offered decently priced test strips that wouldn’t break the bankI’ve been very happy with this monitor as it does not require programming, and comes with everything needed to test my sugar, and offers the components at it an affordable rate.I appreciate the speed and accuracy of this monitor, and plan to pick up another one to leave at work.
