Tough and easy to use
This item really works well. Despite comments in some online reviews stating it's difficult to put on, it is actually really easy. I would also say it is well mDe, quite heavy and offers good anti theft properties.

Very strong and really great product. We have purchased two for two cars we own.

Solid feel. Fits our Volvo xc60 in a few positions - despite all the steering wheel buttons. Easy to lock/ unlock. Very easy to stow and secure alongside driver seat. (used Ratchet tie down strap). Would buy again.

Make sure the key is fully inserted before trying to get the lock to release.
Whilst this is a very good steering wheel lock and a highly visible deterrent, it's important to ensure that the key is fully inserted before trying to release it, else it could appear to be problematic, hence the 4star rating instead of the 5.

very easy to use and smaller / lighter than some alternatives
This lock is great, not too heavy and really easy to use. I use a stoplock pro on my other car and while it feels like it may be a bit more secure (I don't have any evidence for this feeling at all), the size and ease of use of this one mean that my wife will actually use it - we had a stoplock for her before and it was just too heavy and cumbersome so didn't end up getting used, and the car was stolen. I'm sure just having a lock on the car at all is a big deterrent, so this is a much better solution.

This unit is supposed to go over the top of the steering wheel and it’s one of the better ones for the traditional over the top method but positioning it awkwardly like is in the photo will make stealing the car that much harder. Not to mention if the thief tries to drive off with it as is the handle is conveniently in between the bottom of the window frame and the a-pillar (2 or so inches wiggle room before it bottoms out) combine that with one full steering rotation to either side and the car is not going anywhere. For me and the car I drive (VE commodore/Pontiac G8) this works great. If you have a softer steering wheel this might leave indents on the surface as this steering wheel lock is quite heavy.
