I bought the Hatchimals Alive Rainbow Hatchery Toy for my 7-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved it. I bought the Hatchimal Alive for my nephews, and it was an absolute hit! From the moment they saw the egg start to hatch on its own, their faces lit up with pure joy and excitement. The hatching process is truly magical and interactive—it makes the toy feel like a real little creature coming to life. Once hatched, the Hatchimal is adorable, soft, and full of fun sounds and movements that keep the kids entertained for hours. It’s also surprisingly durable, which is a huge plus with energetic little ones around. Overall, it’s a fantastic gift that brings both wonder and fun—definitely a five-star purchase!

I was pretty impressed with this toy! When we added water, the colors began to swirl around and the little animals started to pop out! It was really cool to watch and my daughter loved it! The pretty rainbow effect only lasted for a matter of minutes, then it all mixed together into a muddy brown color, but by then the animals were all hatched out. The only downside to this toy is the fact that the pretty swirl effect can only be done once and it only lasted a few moments. There’s no way to reload the colors to do it again. My daughter loved to watch it though and I was impressed that it worked the way it was advertised.

These are adorable and they kept my seven year-old busy for about an hour, but it does make a mess. Put down towels or make sure you do it outside otherwise you’ll have purple and blue stuff everywhere from the dye inside the eggs. The parts are super tiny so it’s definitely not meant for smaller children, but it’s perfect for maybe ages six and up.

My daughter was elated when she opened this present. Super fun.

My daughter loved this set. Super cute for Easter as it comes in an egg carton style design. Comes with 5 hatchimal eggs to hatch with accessories. Super fun to hatch and instructions are easy to follow. You just add some warm water to the middle and place each egg one at a time and watch them hatch. The hatching is exciting and it’s a nice surprise to see which one you get. I like that the carton can be used after to store them in so they don’t get lost.
