Great as a fanny pack to carry my Sony a6700 w/18-105 mm Sony lense.
The Peak Design sling/fanny pack is perfect for carrying my Sony a6700 camera with a 18-105mm Sony zoom lens.. It does not have padding like the 10l sling pack, but then it does not have the bulk either. Pack is perfect for wearing around your waist unobtrusively and adjusts for carry quickly . Would buy again for daily carry.

Super light. Expandable. But compartments need improvement.
I like PD products. This outdoor sling is a great lightweight sling. The best thing about it is that it can be collapsed or expanded easily. The drawcord system last you expand or tighten the thickness of the bag. When tightened, it can be flat and contour to your body which is a great plus .The weight is very light compared to another of my favorite brand bell - roy . However, the downside is the internal compartments organazation. In the outer compartment, it is a bit too shallow and there is no internal partitions or pockets. In the main compartment, all the zippered and elastic pockets are concentrated on the inner side (the side close to your body). It would be better if there are some small pockets distributed on the other side of the bag.The inner "stash pocket" is a good feature to store quick access items like your phone. It fits the biggest phone on the market right now and it doesn't fall out easily with the magnetic closure. The strap is of high quality. And yes, I can see how the release button can be pressed by accident, so I would not use it for camera gear. So far, this accidental release of the strap has not happened to me. Technically, you could replace it with other PD straps using their anchor links system if you need a super secure strap. The inclusion of multiple strap hooks are great for mounting other accessories and it's very flexible.Overall, this is still an excellent sling. It's light weight and expandability offsets its shortcoming of less than idea compartments organization. Recommended.

So Far So Good
Got this sling today, I have a lot of PD products and slings but this is my first 7L sling. It is light weight with a lot of pockets inside and out. I'm going on a video shoot in a week and I wanted to travel light so I thought I'd try this 7L, my other slings are 10L, 6L, and 3L so I'll see how the 7L works with my travel video gear and how long it'll last with all my travelling and the different equipment I need to carry. So far so good.

Good quality but dirty
Good quality and nicely made, but also arrived dirty with the tag inside and unattached. Probably a returned item.

A bit smaller than expected
The build is what you would expected from Peak Design. However, the size of it feel much like the 5L I had before.

Ok, but be aware
So this bag is very nice. The only downsides are the zippers and the magnetic clasp. The magnetic clasp releases too easy. The zippers aren’t a huge deal as I can attach some carabiners to the zippers to secure them. I stuck some silicone zip ties around the buckle and it’s fine.

Perfect sling for my needs
Tons of space very low profile, my only gripe is the lack of additional or adequate security features. The everyday slings zippers can be pulled through a latch point on either side of the bag. Not too big of a deal, a carabiner should keep things secure enough.
