My 9 year old daughter has really been enjoying making bracelets for people, and she was running out of beads so I chose this set for her. As soon as this was delivered she got right to work and has already made some really nice pieces! The beads are pretty and stylish and I would say they can be worn by little girls and adult women, alike. I like how this comes with mini scissors and the fact that the scissors have a case is an extra plus! The elastic string is holding up well so far, too! This set makes a nice gift for girls!****UPDATE****:About a month later the small gold colored beads started to discolor to look like this (see picture). My daughter had made a ring out of those beads and one day she took the ring off and her finger where the beads were touching was GRAY. I'm not sure if whatever caused that coloring could seep into the skin so we stopped using those and tossed them. Just wanted other buyers to beware of this!
