These banneton baskets are nicer than the rattan baskets and they collapse down a bit when not in use. They do a good job of holding the sourdough while it does the final proof, while wicking away excess moisture. The covers for the bannetons are a bit small, which could impact the dough as it rises, so don't put them on too tightly. These are best for smaller loaves, which is what we wanted. I am pleased with this product and recommend it for those who are looking to enhance their baking expertise.

These bread proofing baskets are top notch! They seem a bit deeper than my other banneton, which is helpful in keeping the loaf shape without the dough spreading out as much. They come with liners and covers! I'm fairly new to sourdough baking, but these are really nice quality bannetons. My bread came out amazing using these! They are also collapsible for easy storage. These can also be used to serve bread at the table, in smaller amounts. I am impressed with the quality of these baskets and am happy to include them into my baking arsenal!

While I haven’t used them for a long period, so I can’t yet attest to their durability, they are beautiful bannetons. Very sturdy, amazing quality and structure. Having the liner for in the banneton as well as for covering the bread to proof is an amazing addition. I got both the round and the oval for my bread dough types.

first comment...pay attention to the size! they clearly list it but i somehow missed it and am cracking up. it's for little loafs that are a little bigger than the size of my hand.other than that, these seem very well made and i probably didn't need a bigger basket anyway!
