This package includes six 25-ounce cans of Blue Runner Creole Jambalaya Base. Bring contents of can to boil. Add 1.5 cups of uncooked rice and 1 pound of your favorite meat (chicken, sausage, shrimp, etc). Cover and simmer for 20 minutes . You can also use pasta instead of rice.

Instead of soup try this!
As with the Gumbo base, I add sauteed celery, onions and green pepper. Also, I season with Paul Prudhomme seasoning using the vegetable seasoning and either seafood, meat or chicken depending on what meat I am adding. It is an excellent base for Jambalaya. It is good without the sauteed vegetables. Most often when making Jambalaya, I add sauteed chicken and turkey smoked sausage and sauteed vegetables. My cajun food critics say it is very good.
