If the item fits
This product had to be returned as it was too small although the product was fine in colour and looks I would suggest anyone buying the garment get a size bigger

Good quality for the price
I ordered this Harrington Bomber Jacket for my husband. He quite likes it, the colour is nice and the tartan lining looks great. I would agree with some reviewers the fabric feels a bit cheap, however for the price it is still a good jacket.I ordered a size M. He is usually between S and M, and still finds the M a bit tight. So if you are in the upper end of a size, I would recommend to size up.

This is a really nice jacket and has a lovely tartan lining insideThe jacket is quite lightweight and therefore is perfect for the spring and summer monthsLooks stylish and for the money I’d say this was a great dealI’m 5ft 8 and 13.7 stone and the large fits me perfectly

It's not for me - but nicely built
So straight off the top, this isn't a bad jacket. In fact, it appears to be well built and use good materials, especially if you are looking for more of a waterproof windbreaker. But it didn't suit me for a couple of reasons - the original details on the product page didn't mention the use of waterproof synthetic material on the outer which feels quite cheap. The inner is nice but I have a major issue with the collar, which is one long piece of neck high material. It's kind of like having a waterproof collar, but doesn't suit the look of the rest of the jacketSo yeah, not for me, but I could understand why others might be keen on it!

Good quality windcheater for spring and autumn.
I've tested the dark blue version of this lightweight bomber jacket, which looks attractive with most casual clothing. The design is good and it's well made with thoughtful touches like the internal pocket and elasticated cuffs and lower hem. The 100% polyester inner and outer layers make this very rain resistant and keep wind out on a blustery day. I like the side pockets which are deep enough to stop things falling out. They can also be closed with flaps that button down and fold away neatly inside when not in use. The jacket folds up quite small, without creasing, making it very good for packing away for travelling and fair weather walking. One downside of the polyester fabric used is that it isn't breathable, so after a vigorous walk or some gardening it does get damp inside, especially the sleeves. It needs turning inside out and airing after a few hours use.For £27 it's reasonably good value for money.

Mens 2XL Harrington Jacket
Delivered in a sealed packageInside sits this true to size 2xl men's Harrington jacket , as a teenager these were the thing to wear so when I saw this I knew hubby would want it .The jacket is made from 100% polyester and is waterproof , the material has a waterproofed feel on the outside . It's got long rib cuffed sleeves and hem with a full zip going up the front and a double button collar , there are buttoned pockets either side of the central zip .The tartan inner is again polyester but warmer on the skin . I think hubby looks great in it . Priced at £26.99 it's not expensive and very suitable as a casual jacket .

Significantly smaller than expected
The jacket is at least two sizes smaller than it should be. The pockets are rather shallow. It does have an inner lining, but this jacket/coat isn't padded in any way. I haven't tested its waterproofing. The style is nothing special for me. It's a plain design, which I do appreciate, but the material detracts from this. The outer material, which is a cheap-feeling and rustling polyester waterproof, means I wouldn't wear this except to protect against rain if I didn't have my umbrella. The material isn't breathable; I'm wearing it now as I write this review, and my arms are already getting a little clammy.Overall, I'm not fond of this jacket. I'd prefer something else in a general jacket and/or coat, although I can see that it has its niche as a waterproof jacket (if you don't mind it not having a hood).

Wanted a Harrington, but this isn’t it
I remember at the end of the seventies, as a kid, getting a Harrington and thinking I was boss with my metal Madness badge as we all listened to “One Step Beyond”. Getting a Harrington now was a nostalgia moment but I was expecting a more canvas cotton/polyester fabric, this is a waterproof polyester, which feels cheap and it wasn’t what I had back then. There is still some nostalgia but I wish I had noticed it was listed as waterproofed. The lining is tartan (veering more to plaid actually) but just doesn’t look like genuine Harrington tartan inner… mostly because it isn’t as Harrington is a brand, of course. Nostalgia fades a bit more.Size wise, the XL fit but is on the snugger end. It’ll be grand come summer but layers make it feel tighter than I’d like. So, perhaps it is cheaper in price than a genuine Harrington, well yes but (at time of writing) only a couple of quid less.
