Perfect fit

This product was an original Westinghouse ring used to hold crystal chandeliers to a hanging lamp. The originals were plastic and cracked from the heat over many years. These are aluminum and I expect they'll last forever. They are a perfect fit as well.

(Received two (2) in package). I ordered this item to replace the plastic rings in my 20 year old Hunter light attached to the ceiling fan. I was worried the original plastic rings would fail because they had split due to me using (non-recommended) halogen lights being extremely hot, splitting and melting them. The Hunter glass globes (green slash cut) are no longer replaceable and if one fell, I'd have to replace the entire light kit on my fan. Little did I know the plastic had melted and actually bonded to the ceramic lamp base - they wouldn't have fallen. After forcing the plastic rings loose, I replaced them with these new aluminum rings and they worked perfectly - too bad all manufacturers don't use this as original equipment. People saying they don't fit made the mistake of not researching their purchase first (is it really that hard to do?) I'll try to add pictures later.

Quick delivery Fit my need when the old ring broke on one of the three units when I remodeled my bathroom. Much less expensive than buying a new fixture to scavenge for parts.

Perfect Fit. Used for Bathroom lighting fixture, with hanging globes. Screwed on effortlessly. Appearance is perfect, as it is off white, and not at all and "aluminum" look.. Excellent value, as I expected to receive a package of 2, but received 2 packages of 2-which actually were brand name "Westinghouse".

I was about ready to throw out my beautiful lights above my vanity because the ring broke on one of them. I had gone to Home Depot several times and bought various rings but none of them worked. Then I found this one and it fit perfectly.

Just what I needed

Worked fine and the fit was perfect. The quality is actually better than the originals that came with the ceiling fan. I broke 2 of the originals while standing on a ladder. They fell from the top of the ladder and broke. Not sure if these new rings are more durable and won't break if dropped from a tall height. Just be careful and don't drop them.
