I noticed a wobble in the ceiling fan that made us not want to use it, so I looked for a DIY solution and saw a video on how to use a balance kit like this Westinghouse product to balance a ceiling fan. I purchased the two pack because I have more than one ceiling fan that could use some attention. Each pack comes with one clip, two weights, and a small set of instructions that matched what I had looked up prior. You clean the fan blades and make sure they're securely screwed in. Then, pick a random blade and put the clip in the middle of it, turn the fan on high, and see if the wobble is better or worse. Then, remove the clip and place it on the next blade, turn it on high, and see if it is better or worse. Do this for all of the blades until you find the one that shows the most improvement. Then it's time to see where on the blade the weight needs to go, so you put the clip on the tip of the blade, then start up the fan again. Then, move the clip down the blade and try again, over and over until you get to the base where it connects to the fan. By then you'll have an idea where the weight has the most improvement.I did this with my ceiling fan for about 20 minutes and saw absolutely no improvement at all. I was all ready to give it a 1-star review when I saw another reviewer who had to use two clips to balance their fan. I have two clips, so why not give it a try? I did the whole process over yet again, and I finally found a spot that worked flawlessly! Two clips on the end of one of my blades eliminated the wobble entirely. I cleaned the blade again, removed the sticker from the back of the weights to expose the adhesive, applied them to the blade by positioning them in the center respective to the front and back, but by the blade tip where I found the most improvement, waited a few minutes to make sure it didn't come flying off, and voila, problem solved! So I didn't find any flaws with this product. It is very easy to use, but make sure you buy two kits just in case you need more than one clip to solve the problem. 5/5 stars

It was very difficult to get the clips open wide enough to fit on the blade, otherwise worked as promised.

The media could not be loaded.  My fan had a pretty good wobble when turned on High. I had the weights that came with the fan but they scared me - what if they flew off some day. You'll notice from the video that if one did fly off it could smack right into our high mounted TV! I love these weights because they are surrounded by padding. I bought a two pack just in case, and I did stick and re-stick once, they stuck down just fine and secure. It only took two weights to balance my fan and a lot of trial and error but i'm very happy with these. The clip however that came with the kit DID NOT FIT my fan blades, no big deal - a clothes pin attached to the trailing edge is simpler and works just as good if not better.

i am not really sure why this works but it does. i randomly chose one blade, put the clip on, and the clicking noise stopped. i then replaced the clip with the weight and all good. the instructions call for testing each blade to see which is best but i didnt have time for that, was happy with the result on the first blade. will update if this stops working but as of now very happy with a cheap easy fix for wobbling fan

Did exactly what I needed it to do. I have a drop fan that hangs almost 4 feet from my ceiling and it would wobble and make noise even on the lowest setting. It took two weights on a single blade, but I do at got the wobbling down to a reasonable level and stopped the noise.
