This is a great kitchen knife and fantastic value. It was so sharp new that I used it in the garden for an hour for pruning. It goes through skin very quickly. I've used it for months on a hard plastic chopping board and not sharpened it for a while and it still cuts well. I'm considering buying half a dozen for Christmas pressies.

Bought this one to replace my 'James Martin' because the Martin was difficult to keep sharp, and we had a smaller Devil already which we like. The Devil is quite thin/light so not so good for heavy cutting because it does flex slightly, but because it's thinner it sharpens really well - a couple of flicks on the steel and it's good to go. Great for everyday vegetable prepping. Also works well as a carver/slicer if needed. Definitely recommend this knife!

If you want knives that are fit for general purposes, buy these. The knives are sharp and with appropriate use stay that way for longer. They are also lightweight so easier to use for longer and may be beneficial to those with joint problems. They are comfortable to hold and have a rubbery handle which ensures your hand does not slip on the handle even if wet. Price is good when compared to other knives on the market, who don't have all these elements!

Good sharp knives, but suffered with rusty spots after cleaning in dishwasher as did their replacements
