Very cute clock, looks just like picture and it is 99.8% silent. It makes a tiny barely audible sound that is not like a ticking but a little motor like sound. I moved it into another small room to take a picture of it and that is when I noticed this barely audible, sound. But in my office and every where else in the house, I can’t hear a thing. It’s a few inches away from me all day long and no problem.I’ve had other clocks that do make clearly audible, ticking noise that annoy me, and I can’t stand and could not keep but this clock is a definite keeper.Perfect size, doesn't take up much space on my desk. The white numbers on the black background makes it easy to view. Highly recommend!The little light is weak so if you need to see a clock clearly at night this won’t be as useful. I have a digital clock for night time in the bedroom.Update: I ordered a second one, it's so cute and perfect for many rooms in my home.

My husband is very very sensitive to those ticking sound. I have been changing a few bedside clocks for him, he kept complaining he was annoyed by those ticking sound while I could not hear anything at all. This is the only one he has no complaint. It's super silent, I could merely hear some movement sounds when I put my ear less than 1 inch close to clock and with high concentration to try to find the sound! The clock looks simple and clear, best suitable for our needs.

I wanted a battery analog clock, not digital. It sits on my windowsill at the kitchen sink. I use the second hand to time hand-washing to ensure I am washing 20 seconds. I hate the birthday song that everyone says to sing twice. No. I hate it so much I sing it too fast, twice, and I bet I have the time down to 10 seconds, which defeats the purpose. This clock is much better than that irritating nasty song.I also use this clock to time priming my water filter for 30 seconds. Unfortunately, everyone should use water filters, really, because of arsenic, lead, fluoride, PFAS. I like things to be simple, elegant, and a good value. My little clock is a green shade that looks period-appropriate in my renovated 1930s kitchen. Many of the walls in the house used to be that color 90 years ago. Now the kitchen is a sunny, soft yellow, so the clock is a throwback burst of color. How many times do you get to pick just the right color? I was happily surprised by that from the seller.Best of all this clock does not add to noise pollution. I might get another one to use in the bedroom, it's so silent. That way I can press the button on the back to see what time it is if the cat wakes up in the middle of the night barfing. The light is low-light so it won't blast my synapses, unlike the REM-shattering nature of a cat seeking equilibrium. Even in this liminal state of half asleep, half awake, the hurl poses a conundrum. If I can't smell it, I can note where it is and leave it until morning, but will I remember? And what if I step in it? Swearing profusely is not a good way to start the day. Nor is realizing how pedestrian and tired those expletives are, but trying to come up with better words to describe my displeasure is counter-productive to the goal of not waking up so much that I can't get back to sleep. So I might as well get up, turn on the light, clean it up and console the poor kitty. Then I have to go wash my hands for 20 seconds -- looks like I'll need to buy a third clock for the bathroom -- but it will take 4 minutes for the water to get warm enough, so cold water further blasts the synapses. Before settling back in bed, I can admire my new little clock, and send out a thought of thanks to the kids who started this business to solve some of life's little challenges for grateful customers. Life is good.

I always hated the lit face on the tablet on my nightstand. Would prefer not to see that at night; this clock works great - face lights up only when you push a button. Uses batteries - no cord. Quiet and stylish

The clock is exactly what I wanted. It's small but not tiny. The minty, light green color matches my room. And, best of all, it is QUIET. There's no annoying ticking to keep me awake.There is a button on the back of the clock you can push to light up the face to see the time in the dark, but I have never used that other than when I first put the battery in and was testing everything out.I am happy with this purchase.

This simple-to-use clock is a solidly-made delight -- solid, attractive, intuitive. I read that it's well-made in some other review. I second that assessment. If you're here because this seems like something you MIGHT like, pull the trigger. You need not look further.

This is nice looking and just the right size to place on my vanity when I’m getting ready in the morning so I can keep an eye on the time. It is silent and only lights up if you choose which is great for me since I like to keep my room dark at night.

This is a nicely designed clock AND is keeping perfect time.It doesn't feel cheap. Well worth the few $$ spent on it.
