Great switching unit
Great at what it does Its not a amplifier its a switch control unit! I am using it as ballanced input/output sellector from my dac which has its own volume control instad of my pre amp. Also using RCA inputs from my AV reciever to switch to ballanced out to my power amplifier. My dac is a dual mono 6x5 / 6n23p tube dac based on a ES9038PRO chip with lampizator circuit. Power amp is a diy nelson pass aleph 5 power amp. Sound quality has improved in detail & bass depth by removing my aleph p1.7 and using this control unit.

Does exactly what it says…
So, this little box is exactly what I needed as I have a DJ and live band both with all their own gear, mixer etc to switch between the same PA system. It works a dream and there is no noise as the switches are moved positions. Not even a small click. Great build quality - feels really robust and the switch action is really positive and nice. Not 5 stars as, for something of this price I would hope the marks on the switches would actually line up with the icons on the case. They are annoyingly just not right. Also, it is pricey for the simple functionality.

Good Product
I wanted a switch so that I could use a Desktop PC and a DJ Controller for one set of XLR speakers. My setup was initially from the PC (3.5 Audio cable) = (RCA Y-Splitter cable) = (RCA cables) = SWITCH = (XLR Cable) to speakers, however using this method the speakers would make a crackling noise when turning up the volume. I did not get the same crackling noise when switching XLR DJ Controller to XLR Speakers. To solve this I bought a one cable running from PC to the Switch (3.5mm Jack to Dual XLR Male Y-Splitter Cable) = (SWITCH) = (XLR CABLE) to Speakers. So I guess its better to have better insulated cables and less cable connections.

Premium price, premium product.
I think it's a little over priced for what it is, which is essentially just a passive multi signal switch, but it's extremely well made, and does exactly what I need it to. The box is a robust all metal construction, and the rotary switches are strong and smooth to operate. The connection on the rear are all good quality, and my cables all fit nice and snug. One little niggle I found was that the weight of the cables would tip the front of the box off the desk. I combated this by fixing a Velcro strap to the back of my desk to take the weight of the cables. Now it sits perfectly flat. A star off for the price, but I would still highly recommend this above other makes. If you can get it on discount, even better. Delivered quickly and well packaged.

Manual Switch with no frills
Just so everyone understands what they are buying. This is a manual switch that takes inputs, and redirects to outputs, enabling you to change from RCA connectors to XLR connectors. It doesn't use a power supply so the only working parts are the manual selector knobs which switch between positions for the connectors. There is no chip, and no powered parts. The box itself is metal and seems quite sturdy. The connectors are secure when you attach them. That's about all you can say because the unit isn't intended to do much. XLR cables are shielded, where as RCA cables are not. Therefore if you are taking a long RCA lead as your input and output it to XLR, the sound will already have interference. XLR is designed to stop interference creeping in through shielding, but it can't remove it. The box simply accepts signal in one end and outputs it out the other. If you use RCA then the best way to reduce interference is to keep the lead as short as possible. If you have XLR as your input and a short RCA lead as your output the interference should be minimal. That is how I use it. Overall build quality is fine but its a tin box with a few connectors and manual switches. I think its over priced for what it is.

Great switch box
This and it's brother the one little bear. Are used within my system to connect 2 DACs, streamer DAC and two amplifiers together using balanced cables. I am able to switch input and amplifier easy without any loss of detail sharing one balanced input on each amp. Highly recommend. There is no cross interference either.

Works great, looks great
Awesome product and great value. Currently using it to switch my DAC output between two headphone amps and a pair of studio monitors. Works flawlessly and looks great on the desk too

Does what it says
This is a fantastic device. Bit expensive for what it does really but it feels good quality. Saves me having to mess around unplugging cables when I want to switch audio source. I only have 1 set of monitors in my room so have my turntables connected along with my audio interface which is connected to my Mac mini and also my consoles so it's just a case of turning the source dial and that's it.

I have an analog recording studio, and needed a way to switch between monitoring different inputs (a large mixing desk and a separate recording rig), plus have them both played through one of two sets of studio monitors. I looked at various monitor controllers, but anything I looked at had many complaints on forums about longevity, issues with stereo balance, etc. More to the point, I don't actually want or need the bells and whistles of a monitor controller. This little box is just a really clean switch between three different inputs and three different outputs. The RCA input is actually perfect for my Yamaha NS10s (which are connected to a hifi amp), and the XLR inputs are perfect for the other gear. Best of all, if this thing goes wrong it's just a 10 minute job with a soldering iron. The box feels sturdy, the knobs feel high quality. Totally recommended.
