I have been buying filters for years. This filter is great and cleans the air from the seasonal allergies.

Product replaces the filter in a Sharp KC-860U. Delivery was quick, the product looks like a quality item and fits and works perfect.

So far so good. The filter perfectly fits my Sharp KC-860U and the air flow from the new filter improved. But there was no way to verify the actual HEPA performance, other than trusting the standard HEPA claim. The filter package contained a California's Proposition 65 Warning, "...contains compounds that may cause cancer..." It would be helpful to disclose what this compound(s) exactly is(are), so that consumers can further assess the risk associated with the filter independently. After 6 months or so of use, this review will be updated with additional findings.

Seems like a good and much more economical replacement for OEM filters. The main HEPA filter looks nearly identical to the original at a much better price.My only complaint is that the included charcoal filters are quite different from the OEM. They're just precut floppy rectangles of filter material, whereas the originals have a rigid frame and a different feel to the filter. It still appears to fit and function fine (and certainly better than buying uncut charcoal filter sheets), but a more exact match would be preferred.
