Similar to Pitch, but with fun twists!
Love this game! It is similar to the popular card game Pitch, but with enough changes to give familiar players refreshing gameplay. Buyers should note that the rules of the game change significantly depending on player count.

Fun Family Game!
It was a lot of fun to play. It's a little better to play with 4 people rather than 3 because playing with 3 people changes up the game a bit. Overall, it was a very fun game to play with the family!

Fuego is Fuego, Indeed!
This game is so easy to learn. A friend and I had it hit the table last night and we read the rules fairly quickly and dove right in. We ended up playing for 3 hours — couldn’t get enough! Not only did we love the concept, the back and forth gameplay, and the almost implied necessity of trash talking your opponent, but man! that art!!! These cards are beautiful, and the production quality on the theming is just *chef’s kiss*.

Look great for four players, but at two—and especially three—it's a lesser game dynamic
I am sharing up-front that my family has not been able to get this game to the table. While that would ordinarily disqualify a review, the reason is a result of a peculiarity of the game that does impact play and perhaps is worthy of a spotlight for that sole reason. Especially if it impacts your decision to buy.We have loved the first edition of PARKS as well as the PARKS: Nightfall expansion, both from Keymaster Games. Fantastic first edition of that game. One of the best board games ever made. It's that good, and few games look as great as the first edition of PARKS.Keymaster Games' Fuego poses a frustrating problem for us, and that's in its player count.Fuego is really intended as a four-player card game played with two sets of paired players. All the best aspects of this game use that pairs dynamic, the kind of thing that makes card games like Bridge, 500, and Spades great. As a four-player game, Fuego looks excellent. The problems come when the game drops to just two players and multiplies when it is three. In both cases, there are rule changes to force an added "automaton" process that creates additional faux players the other players must manage to simulate a set of four. The two-player modification uses a "fan" of cards called a Torch to feed each player in the two-player what amounts to the cards from a missing partner. The three-player complicates this further by incorporating the Torch for two players and making player three play a solo variant. These changes in the two- and three-player rules make it clear that this is a four-player game at its core. And while the two-player is an OK solution, the three-player, which is our situation, is really awkward, and I've not been able to garner interest for a three-player match. And we just don't have a fourth. If you have occasion for a four-player session of Fuego, go for it. But at any other player count, it's just a different feel for the game, and from the looks of it, not as good. But you can take that for what it's worth from someone missing that fourth and who could not get the game to the table otherwise.

Quick fun for the whole family!
It's quick, easy to learn fun for the whole family. After first playing it, the next day my 7 year old son immediately wanted to play it after getting back from school. Made of quality materials and in a compact package making it easy to bring on trips. I'm eager to try each of the game setup variations. Highly recommended!

Me Mucho Gusto Fuego
Fuego is perfect for the holidays! One of the best trick taking games I've ever played, and I grew up playing Euchre, so that is saying something. The Torch (a mechanic used for 2-3 players) is one of the most creative mechanics I've ever seen in a card game. I cannot recommend this game enough. It is a perfect stocking stuffer!

Trick taking game
Fun fame. Easy to pick up. I was disappointed in the box, though, as the back of the box is just a paper that was in the wrapping. I ended up, cutting it down to size and putting it in the top of the box. The box itself has a hole on one end and you push as if it was a drawer to get the cards out. Pretty nice.
