Asus ZenFone ZC600KL Case, Zenfone 5Q Dual Layer Rubber Armor Hard Plastic PC + Soft TPU Shockproof Protective Case for Asus ZenFone 5 Lite zc600kl Phone Case 6.0 Inches (Balck)

This is the third case I own since I bought my Zenfone 5Q in an hurry. Had to replace my phone over there weekend due to a cracked screen. The phone came with a transparent TPU case and I bought another stiffer one from Amazon the following day.After two weeks of using that one, I started searching for a two layer phone cases. I needed a two layer cases so I can insert metal plate to be used with the magnetic cases mount in the car. The single layer cases is usually two thick for this purpose and throughout the route to work, the phone would start to tilt to one side which is rather annoying. My wife's Zenfone 4 had a similar problem, it wasn't until I bought her a two layer case that the problem went away. Hence, I found my way to the only two layer case for Zenfone 5Q in Amazon right now.The case works exactly as anticipated. For those who read the other reviews regarding stiff buttons, my other TPU case buttons are even harder to press. This cases of actually easier due to its larger button design. This is not the fault of the case designer; the button on the phone are inheritly difficult to press by design. I believe this was there reason why the transparent TPU case that came with the phone has the button cut out rather than buttons overlay. This was the reason I shy away from that case and order a different one right away. I find the button cut out very hard to use.The only improvement I have on this cases is the texture on the back. Even though the smooth texture is excellent to the touch, I would rather have a little textual surface on the back so the phone would not easily to slip out of my hand. This is a personal preference so I did not grade down the case based on this reason. Overall, a great after market cases for this phone. Enjoy !!

I returned it because I like to switch covers like outfits for a mood and this locks on like a pitbull and I felt like regular switching would eventually damage my phone, but when I had it on there it was clearly some serious armor!! Ignite had a stand I would have just kept it and stopped using multi cases with my mood. Pretty much the best case I've ever tried as far as protecting the actual phone.

There aren't many choices of cases for the Asus Zenfone 5Q. Make sure you look at the camera placement before buying a case. This fit my phone perfectly. All buttons, including the fingerprint sensor work great. Tight fit, but isn't too hard to get on and off. The material of the case is smooth and won't cause problems sliding into a pocket.

Black color has rubbed off on various spots and on edges and and the plastic color under is an ugly white. Plastic is cracking. Phone/case hase has never been dropped. Buyer beware. I will never buy or recommend a case from this co.

Fits the phone perfect and it looks great. I do feel like it will protect against some drops. The only negative is that is is very slick and shows prints.
