Under Armour Men's Resistor Low-Cut Socks (6 Pack)

I tried these on, and at first thought "Wow, how comfortable and nice stretch". Then I wore them a day at work. It wore thru at the big toe. Now I keep my nails trimmed, and have NEVER had this problem with any other socks I have purchased. So I thought, what the heck and tried another pair the next day. Same thing. I will never buy these again.

I have purchased several packages of these socks over the past few years in both black and white. I like the fit and the low cut. However, I have found that these socks do not last as long as some other brands. They seem to develop holes around the balls of my feet. Granted, I have regularly used these socks for more than a year, so I got some wear out of them. If socks from other brands last me 2.5-3.0 years on average, then these last 1.5 years. I am looking for another brand to try next, but I will keep wearing the rest of these until they wear out.

I have a hard time buying socks. Whenever I would get Nike, and the biggest size they offer, after one wash and dry, they are too tight to wear. I bought some Under Armour (UA) socks in 2010 and still have them today, although they are starting to get little holes. I decided to go with UA this time around as I was frustrated with Nike and my previous UA socks worked so well. Saw mixed reviews but decided to give them a try anyway. I'm very pleased with my purchase. After washing and drying they still maintain the elasticity required to fit my feet without feeling like they are cutting off circulation. I went hiking in the mountains last week and after a long day of hiking, 6 hours and over 5 miles, not a single blister on my feet! My wife wore thinner socks and her feet had several blisters. I gave her a pair of my socks for the next few days and she was able to walk around pain free! I highly recommend these socks. I put them through extreme testing and they still maintained their feel, size, quality, and comfort.

My son is a tad picky about the socks. If you aren't bothered by the "toe lump" someone you know probably is so you have to know what I'm talking about. But worse, boys these days are all into brand name, even (especially) their socks. My son owns a LOT of expensive, insert other athletic name brand here, socks. But they're cotton. Not only does the thickness give them a prominent toe ridge but it seems to get worse as they shrink and bulk in every wash. My son is also a runner and the running shoe people recommended non cotton socks so they don't wick when running in this heat. Hmm, I always thought cotton was better because of breathability. So I started looking at "performance" socks. $5-$10 for 1 pair, and man I thought the ones he had now we're expensive.What else to do? Amazon has everything. So in my searching I came across these socks. Not cotton, check. Name brand, check. Not ridiculously priced, check. And it certainly didn't hurt that it came in a pack bigger than 2 or 3. I guess if he won't wear them his sister will.These socks are GREAT. They're not very thick, they're decently (but not overly) soft and the ridge is minimal. No more morning struggles. It does have a toe ridge but nothing bothersome. It's been several washes and they still have their shape, size, and minimal ridge. He's been wearing them to run and no foot complaints. Since they're name brand he doesn't try to wear his uncomfortable name brand socks just to have name brand. But they're comfy so no struggles. And they're cheaper than his previous socks, I think I hit the jackpot. And here I was worried about ordering socks I could feel first.

I'm a size 12-12.5 shoe and these socks fit nicely, though certainly live up to the lo cut name. They are not so small that they slip back over my heel, which is typically the main issue with lo cut socks since you wind up walking all over them.Even so the quality is spotty at best. Within a few weeks about 25% of the socks had a hole somewhere. It's not that the same place kept failing too. I would understand if the big toe kept opening (maybe it was my toenail), or the ball of the foot (maybe I walk heavily in that area), or the heel was separating (big heels?!?) but small holes developed in each of those places. Small holes quickly turned larger rendering the socks useless, or at the very lease embarrassing when going through airport security.I'm leaving 3 stars because for the 50% of socks that made it through the first month they are still super soft, even after multiple washes, they fit well and they are comfy. Amazon has a wide variety of sellers charging different prices, but if you pick them up on the cheaper side it's still a worth it once you weed out the poorly sewn ones.

Compré un paquete similar a este el año pasado en una tienda, me gustaron mucho y estando aquí en México decidí comprar por aquí un paquete más. Sin embargo, la calidad de las que me enviaron me decepcionó bastante, estas están mas delgadas que las otras y además se ven como fallos en las uniones de las costuras. En lo general me parece que el material es de peor calidad que las compradas antes.

I have mixed feelings about these socks. I bought them with hope that they'd help stop my feet from sweating. They haven't made any difference when comparing to the $12 Costco puma socks.They feel a bit tighter than I'd like. I guess the benefit to that would be that they won't fall down in boots. I'm a size 10 and ordered the large. They look nice too.
