I purchaed these on April 7th. On May 1st the first filter needed replaced already. The first filter we used from the 3 pack was great for filtering but the water took forever to filter. The 2nd filter in the package is useless. The water flows around it very quickly and no filtering happens, no matter what we do. And yes we ensured it was submerged and, installed correctly. The 3rd filter is finally more like the Brita Elite. Good filtration at a reasonable pace. We were hopeful but won't purchase these again. Consistency is key to repurchasing.

I love the idea of a 6 month filter! I have several dogs and this is so convenient, as opposed to changing it every month. However, when I opened and prepared the 2nd filter, I realized the water is literally running through it, as if there is nothing inside. I'm not sure if the filter itself is flawed or it's a fluke, but 1 for the price of 2 wasn't a great purchase for the cost.
