K&N Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Acceleration: Compatible with 2024-2025 Ford: Mustang, 63-2626

The quality of the filter assembly is poor, and the pipes of the filter were cracked. I noticed this immediately after installation, and my car's check engine light turned on, which has left me dissatisfied with this filter. There is excessive space between the bonnet and the air filter, allowing it to easily draw in hot air.

Missing Parts! K&N Cold Air Intake (Rotomold 63-2626) came without a required functional tube and one of the name plates. K&N Customer Support says I'll get the parts within a week. I hope so. I decided to pre-assemble everything since I have to await parts for installation and found: 1) the tubes are full of debris 2) the tube lips are too large to fit into either the throttle body hump hose or the air box rubber adapter. I had to grind them down with my dremel. 3) the air filters are a tight fit. It's a good thing they're 100k filters because you would have to disassemble the intake system to remove them. Hopefully the install will go well once I get the missing Parts. I'm looking forward to finishing this install.

This made such a difference in my car it flies now I'm super happy it's the best thing I've put under my hood
