Quality camera
This is a quality camera. Easy to mount, easy to setup. I set mine to continously record, and write to the 256 gig sd card I inserted. It gives about four days of recorded videos. The software is easy to use and let's you zoom in on a part of the recording, and select a different video without loosing zoom position. Thats really helpful when trying to identify when something changed in that part of the video. If you want to power over ethernet, which is how I have mine, you will have to buy a separate power adapter for that. One thing to note, it's only software zoom so if I want to see a license plate across the street it's not so good for that. It's more of a "cover the whole front of the building" type of camera.

Great Security camera with 180 Horizontal view coverage
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great product with great lowlight quality videos. We use this for our outdoor security outside a building and the video quality is great. Build quality of the anti vandalism is also great!

Reolink Duo 3V - Much good, some bad and a little bit ugly.
Ok, so where to start on this Reolink Duo 3V camera... It's 180 degree of viewable, which is part of the much good. It's a solid camera, it's not cheap or weak case/shell. The Camera can obviously take some hits and keep on going which supports it's IK10 Vandal-proof rating.Unlike other cameras, you have to take the camera fully apart to secure it to the overhang. This is the bad part. While other cameras give you a base what allows you to slide/rotate the camera onto, it's very easy to secure a base to the overhang. In this camera, you will REALLY need to the template that's included, use that to drill your holes into the overhang, and hopefully, have your cable lined up as well. This really made mounting the camera a real pain in the rear end, and is why it's not a five star rating. Once you do have the main part mounted, you get to screw the cover back on with the included star type L shape wrench. Also, since you have no PTZ, you have to really crank hard on the Philips head screw to setup the alignment of the cameras up/down.The ugly comes in the form of getting this system setup. After loading the software onto my laptop, you could get the camera accessible, setup IP address and other goodies. In my case, I needed ONVIF along with a username/password combo. At first Synology would talk to ONVIF, but the camera just shut it self down. I then found that Synology actually has a REOLINK DUO 3V selection, and we went from ugly to a better setup. Had we not of had Synology's reolink setup, I have a feeling this would have been a mess to get working. Good thing I did check the Synology website first, and DUO 3V was listed. Finally, some more good. Once I did get it all working, you do get a very nice 180 degree view. It's not bad looking and where the two cameras "meet" is not bad [nor does it stick out in the middle of the picture]. So far, I'm happy with my purchase. The Synology has no issues with the camera and remote viewing works perfectly.

Video quality
Good quality, price is accessible, installation and set up is a breeze. Image quality great!I have installed cameras 3x the price as this one and let me tell you, this brand surprised me about how good they turned out in build quality, video and set up.

Terrible glare at night outdoors
Completely unusable near any lighting at night due to glare from the dome. I mounted it on a wall, perhaps it would work better on an eve, I don't know. It does work OK during the day but not a clear as my Duo 3's at all. I think this might be ok indoors, but I recommend looking at something different if needed for outdoors.Reolink support worked with me to find a more suitable camera to replace it with.

Great picture and easy setup/maintenance features
Great picture and easy setup with a couple of considerations to add:1) Works with mobile apps DMSS, NMSS, and Reolink but the latter performs better with higher quality picture.2) SD card needed to record locally.3) Mount position/view should not be too close to a gutter, wall, or tree to avoid reflection problems.4) Works with other vendor DVRs (but not recommended) using ONVIF. Reolink is not shy of requiring their products to connect without errors.5) Test initial setup with a cable connected to POE port before installing. One of four returned due to poor connection problem using the same cable/network. Otherwise, you may have the extra hassle of swapping cables, ports, and other network troubleshooting once installed.Reolink is like the Apple environment for security cameras - easy to setup.

I can see the whole side of my yard now
The new Reolink camera was a great solution for the gap in my yard's security coverage, especially after some recent mischief. Its super wide field of view is exactly what I needed. Just a heads-up, though: I did have to update my NVR to accommodate the wide image format.
