Z Athletic Folding Mat

This product really is amazing. I've been in the market for professional grade mats to use for yoga and combatives training. I wanted to replace the cheaper puzzle tiles I currently have. With all products I do a good bit of research before any purchase. After reading some online reviews I was a bit skeptical of the product condition once I recieved them (loose stitching, cuts in material, etc) I was pleasantly surprised that there were no defects anywhere to be seen. Once each of the mats arrived I went over them with a fine tooth and comb. All the stitching was intact and no cuts in the material. Areas that will see a lot of wear from use have been reinforced with double stitching. The mat is firm enough for what I'm using them for and the dont give to much. Some mats you buy of this type feel like your sinking into a mattress or spring loading on a trampoline. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a professional style mat for either combatives, yoga, or gymnastics. A nice touch to the packaging was a thank you note with a little information about the company. They are a family based business based out of a town not to far from where I am. A+++++

Tried a similar mat in a hotel gym and wanted one instantly. This is so nice and cushioned. Much more comfortable than a simple yoga mat for doing floor stretches, anything that puts pressure on your knee, and for anything that requires lying down. You could even do standing yoga on this because it is very sturdy. Folds up for storage in a corner or closet, but mine mostly lies out because I'm using it all the time, and the black color makes it unobtrusive in my living room. Also has an easy-to-clean surface.

I bought these for Jiu Jitsu.I have them in my garage on a concrete floor.They are great quality and have Velcro to attach them together at the sides.I’m truly not sure what people have to complain about here. We’ve been doing takedowns and throws on the pads and they seem to cushion the fall very effectively.I didn’t find the construction cheap at all.The Velcro is pretty hardcore. In fact sometimes It’s difficult to pry it off itself.I’ve had these for a few months now and I’m pretty satisfied.I mean, I would imagine a relative majority of people are using these for martial arts of some sort.If you need everything to be soft and gentle maybe you’ve chosen the wrong sport.

My daughter loves this gymnastics mat! This size is perfect for doorways to go under a chin up bar. It can be used in so many ways and truly provides the best protection from injury. The padding is thick and perfect on any floor. The three sections fold up nicely and stores easily. It is way more compact than I thought it would be. The color is adorable and actually matches my daughter’s bedroom. We will be ordering more in different sizes. I highly recommend this!

It is a well built mat. No, it is NOT squishy soft. But it is a good thickness, and I guarantee it is softer than the concrete floor.

Got the mat and it is perfect. I purchased the 5x10x2 Gymnastics/Martial Arts mat to practice Martial Art rolls and falls. Its the mat you would expect for this. Seems high quality and is not too soft that you would hit the floor through the mat. I was worried about that, but no problem. Seems like it will last a long time since it is a good quality. Great Seller. I did email them to see if the product has shipped and didn't get a response, but made know difference since the mat got here ahead of schedule.

I bought two of these mats and am using them in my home rock wall. So far so good! They are stiffer than normal rock climbing mats, but work well for a short fall. The pink one is slightly bigger than the black one and comes with a Velcro strap to cover the crease, which is very nice, but I am not using it since it is not needed. Firm and sturdy I'm sure they will get the job done well. They do get softer over time since I bought the black one first and notice that it is softer than the pink one that just came in.

This item is perfect. My daughter is 11 and on a team for gymnastics. This is exactly what she needed for the end of her airtrack to practice harder skills. Great price and quality 👍🏼 Would purchase again and recommend to others.
