Works well with showers of sparks.
Handy carrying pouch - used for a larger folding knife - and the firesteel itself is excellent. Showers of sparks are produced with each stroke of the Striker - just ensure you use the "Burred" striker edge against the ferro shaft - and that you scrape off the anti-corrosion coating before use.

What a fantastic firesteel with a very strong spark! This product is very well made with a premium feel wooden handle, plenty of paracord connecting the striker and a nice bag to keep it all together.... highly recommended to anyone who is interested in buying one!!!!
