The burner temperature adjusts perfectly. I needed lower temperatures to fry chicken, vegetables and carnitas. It was effortless to dial in the perfect temperature. The burner also can provide higher temperatures for boiling water. The leg additions allow for height adjustments. They install easily to go from a low, stable height for deep frying turkey or heating water, to a higher height for carnitas, pan frying, etc. We use this mostly with a mexican style caldero (large pot/pan) for frying and carnitas. It performs like a dream.

This thing is fantastic it does its job very well. I have had for over 3 months and use it at least one a week. It is very quiet easy to control easy to setup and breakdown for storage. It’s sturdy and durable. My one small negative is a poor workmanship of the metal wires above the burner on which a pot is placed. The wire are not level so a pot or pan leans.

High power burner WITHOUT the annoying timer found on many models. We’re using it at the moment for a 10 gallon pot to scald/pluck our meat birds. It’s bringing the water temperature up very quickly. The only issue I have is- the knob on the front of the unit does nothing. However the knob on the regulator adjusts the gas flow perfectly. Therefore the unit functions properly. I would recommend this product.

I have used my burner 4 or 5 times and the flame will not stay blue, it is now orange. This is the second burner that I have bought and both of them turn orange instead of blue. Is there is problem with your product that they do not last. I would like to know why the turn orange.

Coming from a standard outdoor cooker that I got from Academy a few years ago for $25, this is a tremendous step up. The banjo-type burner will make you a believer. I can heat my homebrew batches in less than half the time now.Another benefit is that once you dial in the correct air-to-gas ratio and get a clean blue flame there is hardly any soot built up after an hour-long boil.The extension legs are a nice addition, but I doubt I'll ever use them. That could have shaved off $5 or $10 from the base price, but I am quite satisfied with the overall performance and build quality.

Stronger flame than on my glass top range. I adjust it to the very beginning of the adjustment level and that is more than enough heat for boiling a gallon of water to steam the vegetables. The adjustments are the air mixture to a blue flame, and the red valve for the amount of btu . Very simple to use. No complicated electronics to deal with.

I love this thing! You can adjust the flame from simmer for stew or chili, to After Burner, to get that big pot boiling fast, for shrimp and crawdads!
