Dickies Men's Trifold Chain Wallet

Okay so i know there's more expensive wallets out there. And i know this isn't REAL LEATHER! But I needed something cheap with a CHAIN because recently lost my last wallet with $800 cash in it and all my identification and cards etc. So I needed a chained wallet. Looking on Amazon there's actually not a huge selection of them, and most of them are the "hot topic specials" lol those are always really bulky, and not made very well. So I saw this one and I'm a fan of dickie work pants shop I figured let's see what I think when it shows up. So I ordered it. It came in 3 days, in a nice box, and it's exactly like the picture. It's feels sturdy for being "pleather" and it's not very bulky. The chain is a great length, not to long or short, and the best part? MY WALLET WON'T FALL OUT OF MY POCKET ANYMORE GUARANTEED! lol So I'd say this wallet for the price and what you get for that price earn it a 5 star rating in my book.

If you prefer a brown one and you put on a little bit of leather treatment, like doc martens wonder balsam or other wax preservative it turns almost black but is still deep brown. Looks fantastic. Punk biker but still brown. The people who say the leather is thin are correct, but if it was thicker leather, this thing would be a lot fatter in the pocket. I find it fat to begin with so the thinness or whatever for me is perfect. I ended up buying a chunkier heavier chain for it and I am super thrilled. I put my transit card in the first fold alone so there’s no rfid crosstalk and use it without taking the card out. Super feature. and I feel safe, leaving my wallet in my pocket in public transport or just walking around the city, etc. Room for 6+ cards plenty of bill room id card window etc. All in all pretty ideal all told.

Wallet is a regular size, pretty light weight, and seems like nice material. i got it for my husband but he isn’t home yet so hopefully he likes it haha. plenty of space for cards or cash, comes with the belt chain too. smells normal i think, nothing weird to me. looks pretty nice too. i did not notice this in the photos but there’s no button to clasp it shut! not the sellers fault though obviously but in case whoever’s reading this also didn’t see that there’s no button, now you know :)

I desperately needed this wallet for my son because he is visually impaired. And by having his wallet literally hooked to his belt loop he's more likely not to lose this wallet. He's lost every other one. /: It's not his fault. He can't see. So I had to figure out a way to help him. And this wallet IS the answer. I'm so happy with it because it's made very well and definitely smells like real leather. Plus...it's the perfect size. It's a little thick but not cumbersome. The size allows him to have his money securely in place and easily accessible. I always fold his money a certain way so he can tell which bill is which. I'm very happy with it.

got to replace the walmart version of this that I have had for at least four years as it was disintergrating and embarassing to pull out and pay for things. I do like the rich black color and I do like the tri-fold which is the main reason I bought this and it's best qualities. Leather is not as thick as I would like and the part where the ugly tag was stitched onto the inside ripped when I gently removed the tag, which was disappointing. I did replace the chain with my old wallet's chain as it was still in good shape. the chain that comes with this wallet does look and feel cheap, it is too thin and the bright silver color looks cheap. my old dickies wallet chain is thicker and a cooler darker silver color. so overall not bad if you want a simple tri fold, works for men or women, I am a woman, but you're going to want to change it's chain and be careful not to rip it. also the inside fold is nice because it is completely covers cash plus a few inches on the inside so nobody can take a look when you pull it out
