The meter is not compatible with the British way of measuring blood sugar and as I purchased it for my 90 year old mother it’s useless for her. The meter also arrived in pieces thanks to customs taking everything apart.

Not giving the right readings for the UK
This meter is made for the American market and uses a different way of measuring your sugar level, (mg/dl) You can convert the readings to the UK (mmoL/L by dividing the reading by 18 which is a pain to do and I would suggest you use a calculator to avoid mistakes. Make sure you buy a Blood glucose meter made for the UK mmol/l readings the NHS want.
