I got my money’s worth for sure. This thing is very well built with metal components where it mattered. The on/off magnet switch worked reliably and the magnet was very strong. The steel arms do not flex and the joints are also without to slightest wiggle. I already had a dial gauge from my motorcycling days, a genuine Suzuki top dead center dial indicator. At first I wasn’t sure if my gauge would compatible but it was and truing my new jointer was a breeze using this combination. Set it on my out feed table, zero the dial and then move it to the top of each cutter. It should read zero since they’re on the same plane. The magnetic holder made it all easy.
