We got this helmet for our grandson who is getting his first bike (tricycle) Really like the color and the visor that clips on but is not required. Definitely measure your child's head and do not purchase based on age references alone. Our grandsons head measured in at 50cm which is close to the middle of this helmets range. Simple twist knob adjusts the helmet to fit snuggly. Lots of foam inside for protection and vent holes for comfort.

It is manufactured to the same specs as are most head cover made in china. The outer shell is rather thin with an assortment of graphics to choose from. The inner substance is a very dense styrofoam. The padding is mid to upper level quality. The straps are top notch. Of course you have an adjustment wheel in the rear, a sun visor in the front. They are marketing this helmet for kids but I find that they also work for petite ladies. Give this brain bucket a try, you'll be glad you did. You cannot beat the price.
