For under $60 you can't beat this set. Great for beginners. The glockenspeil itself is sturdily built and plays in tune (as much as any glock does!). Moreover, you get a stand, case, drum practice pad, and a set of drum sticks and mallets for the glock -- more "stuff" than I was expecting. The mallets are a little cheesy, but they'll get you started, and you can always upgrade later on.My one complaint is the case. For some reason, they made it to unzip at the \narrow\ end, rather than the wide end. This makes it a bit of a pain to get the bells in and out, since the unzipped opening is narrower than the wide end of the glock. But hey ... for $60, I'll deal with it.

I'm a music educator and I was surprised at how nice this bell kit was for the low price - I've seen much worse. The bells sounded pleasant and (mostly) in tune and the wood support seemed sturdy. The kit includes a stand and snare practice pad and basic drumsticks and bell mallets. The carrying bag looked to be well made with enough padding to protect the instrument, but the backpack straps are not padded and there is no side carry handle, only one at the top. I ended up returning this because I needed a larger set (32 notes) but I'd recommend this to parents as a fairly decent bell kit for a beginning percussionist. You won't find a kit with this playability for anywhere close to this price at a music store.

I bought this bell kit for my little one, who needed it for band practice. The teacher suggested some kits that were well outside of my budget, so I opted to buy this kit, and was I pleasantly surprised. These have been used every day since we've got them, and they are holding up very well, still sound great and the stands have been screwed in and out a ton of times, and it still feels like day one. If you're on a budget and need a decent bell kit that won't break the bank, I would definitely recommend this one.

I bought 2 of these for less than the price it would have cost me to rent them for school band. They are just like the other kids' kits, except they are in a backpack style rather than rolling. My kids are ok with carrying them though. Good quality for the price and perfect for a beginner.

I got everything as advertised. Pleasant sound with most notes. Some notes are less ringing and not 100% tuned but close enough. There are a couple notes doesn't ring much. Overall acceptable for an amateur like me. Good enough for family fun. Would not recommend it for high quality studio recording. If I would have paid $400.00, it would be returned. On sale I paid around $206.
