AZEUS2024 Updated Air Purifier C8 (1, Medium)

Even though it's billed as "medium," this thing is smaller and less powerful than my Levoit P350; but if you're in a small room, that's not necessarily a bad thing. According to my rough test of holding a sheet of paper above the air being spat out, the purifier I'm reviewing has to be set on its middle fan speed in order to match the output of my Levoit on its low speed. It's made more for offices than for big rooms. It does fit more nicely on a desk, though, since it takes up less space, and at its lowest fan speed it's quieter. The timer is a nice function, too.When I first unpacked it, I thought it was missing its power cord, but it turns out that's stored inside the purifier's body for shipping. I had a little trouble getting the cover off the first time, but after that it worked fine.

I've been using this for about two weeks now. I leave it on the auto setting and most of the time it's really quiet. I don't know how the auto setting works but occasionally it will jump to medium or high fan speed. Medium isn't bad but high is really loud.When it's on low there's barely any air movement so I don't know how effective it really is at that setting but it seems to be working well. I have central air so there's usually a lot of dust in the air especially when the AC or heat kicks in. You can actually smell particles. While I checked the air filter today and it still looked brand new I have noticed the air doesn't have quite as strong a smell of dust. It's still there but it's not as bad. I'd prefer no smell at all but considering the size of this filter I think it's doing a pretty decent job for the size of the room I have it in.My only real complaints are I wish I could see the reason why the auto setting changes and it would be nice to have a readout of air quality or at least some kind of indicator. Other than that though it seems to be doing fine.

Fan noise is less than 40 on low and 68 at high setting, which is fairly quiet for the amount of air it pushes through.I tested first in a bedroom with the door and windows closed, on high for an hour then set it to auto. After half a day the air in the room was fresh and pollen free! I slept soundly with no need for eye drops or inhaler for air-born allergies.Next I moved the unit to a room I constantly sneezed whenever I spent time there. After a day of running on automatic the air is now clear of whatever particulates that was affecting me. No more sneezing and runny eyes! A small footprint for the coverage area. Maybe consider multiple units.The 3 stage filter lasts up to six months and replacements are available on Amazon reasonably priced. There are directions to periodically rinse the first stage of the filter to prolong its effectiveness.

I've found this air filter to be an excellent addition to my gun room, effectively keeping dust at bay and preserving my investments. It excels at purifying the air and eliminating dust. Although it operates with a noticeable hum on the high setting, making it less ideal for a bedroom, it's absolutely perfect for my needs.

I have asthma sufferers here. But we love our pets, too. I'm constantly trying to find something to help that is small, unobtrusive, and quiet. This little unit seems to fit the bill. I put it in the Den where we spend a majority of our time and it operates quietly enough for us to have normal conversation and/or watch TV without issue. I only set it out 2 days ago so I can't comment on efficacy or efficiency, but the QUIET? That is outstanding.
