A quieter alternative to "the clapper”! Pressing the button is all you need to do!
This product is easier to assemble than 95% of gadgets these days just plug in to outlet then point remote at outlet. You will see the red diode light up. You are now synced up. Plug in fan or lamp. Noise machine for sleep sounds. So effective it will work around corners meaning you don’t even need a direct line of sight. I only wish I had gotten this sooner. Buy as gifts. Stocking stuffers. Turn any appliance into a remote operated on / off operated device. A silent alternative to "the clapper!”

Remote control unit
Unit is compact, appears to be fairly well built. Unit was also very easy to pair up and started working right away. The small remote already had a battery in it just had to pull the little tab to expose the battery to the unit. Button works to at least 30 feet away. Haven’t tried any further than that but very happy with it so far.

So convenient!
We use this remote outlet power switch to control lamps beside our bed and the lamps by our desk. They are very helpful and work great. We liked them so much, we've recommended to many and bought for our adult children to use in their homes.

Remote power button
I bought this because sometimes our smart TV locks up and I have to do a power down reset and it makes it easier to press a button rather than unplugging

Love the product!
It works! My shredder has a light that stays on even when it isn't shredding. Annoying! I don't have to unplug shredder when not in use. I just use my remote and presto no light. My remote is in a handy spot (I used the self-adhesive furnished.) I have another one of these for turning a lamp on and off. Again I used the self-adhesive for the remote. Love it! Especially great in older homes.
