This is great but need some mods
Initially I like this. It worked with the Xbox Series S withe the controller. However, i decided to buy the mayflash dongle. I found that the dongle provided lower latency than the controller. Go figure. The 0.9 resistance springs was a no bueno. Too loose.I had to order 4 lb stiffer springs. Six lbs. being even better depending on your resistanceNow about the resistor. This is where it gets tricky the square, rectangle resistor was preventing me from playing Pac-Man Miss Pac-Man and other arcade shooter games. It would create inconsistencies in your ability to move the joystick left right and up and down. With a lot of travel going onto the corners.Had I purchased a more expensive arcade stick it would have also came with that square resistor. Fortunately 300 elite actually included the octagon resistor. When I switch that out it made all the difference in the world. And I don't know any other more expensive arcade stick to actually comes with a swappable resistor. Sure you can buy one but if this is new to you you would have never known that that would be the fix for odd, inconsistent joystick travel problems.I also got a 25 millimeter actuator. I'm not sure if this did much but I don't have to move the joystick far in order to make the character go. And, I'm able to make it feel like it did when I was in the arcade. The oval shape handle was far better for my grip than the ball.Summary:I had to buy a 4 lb spring. I had to purchase a 25 mm actuator. Fortunately it included the octagon shape resistor. And I purchased a oval shape handle. This is what it took to get this arcade stick to feel like it did when I was in the arcades. Out the box it felt a little too loose and it reminded me of those arcade games where the joystick was just real sloppy and loose and fit and needed to be fixed. Will you have to report it to the store manager who's in the arcade at the time this joystick is real real loose you got to fix it. So the 0.9 lb spring they use is just way too loose.Surprisingly I probably would have to do the same thing for the more expensive ones.

Good stick - multi-platform
Quality feel and weight. I was concerned that the stick and buttons were going to be too loud and “clicky” but my concern was unfounded. They’re fine. Now, I have NOT used this yet in any games so I cannot speak about the most important element for which you’re reading this review, Performance. I will give the reason in a moment.I’ve been a gamer since the ‘70’s and I’ve always been a proponent of quality controllers and the proper controller for a particular genre. Let’s face it, our controllers are how we communicate with our games. For example, you will have a far better experience in a racing game with a force-feedback wheel in a racing chair, than you will moving your left thumb one-half of an inch left and right on a standard controller. Though I’m not a fighting game fanatic I bought this controller for classic arcade games that I used to play as a kid, to play on the Nintendo Switch and the fact that the stick is multi-platform simply put it ‘over the top’. I opted for the “Elite” version due to my belief that if you are making a purchase of something and you don’t plan to buy a replacement for many years, and/or you plan to use the item several times a week, just spend the extra money upfront for the superior product. You’ll quickly forget the extra cost and enjoy the extra quality every time you use it.Now, I was unable to use this with my Switch because, as I later discovered, my Switch is slightly damaged. Many months ago it received a large static shock when removing it from the Dock (because I apparently live in polyester and comb my hair with balloons) but it seemed to work just fine in every way, UNTIL I tried to plug the F300 Elite into the Dock. Turns out my Switch now unable to “communicate” through the Dock, though charging works perfectly well. I tried the controller on my friend’s Switch and it works fine but he had no fighting games nor arcade games in which to truly evaluate it’s performance. As I did not know that my Switch was damaged, this leads me to speak about May Flash’s customer service which is, simply excellent. They were very responsive, kind and helpful via email and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Seriously, I can’t imagine it being better unless they flew out here personally, fed me pizza, and offered me a new Switch.I’m keeping the F300 Elite because I WILL buy some PS4 games that will utilize it and will probably purchase another Switch eventually (hopefully the rumored “Pro”) and then plan to use the heck outta it.I hope this helps you in your decision in some way.(Thank you God for video games!)God Bless, and enjoy!
