The Bedding Plant Expert Paperback – 2 May 1996

Easy and quick to read. I use the Expert range of books, as quick reference guides. Easy to use. Saves me getting the big books out all the time. The book is in good condition, even though it has been used.

Even with lots of information on the Internet I find these books by Dr Hessayon indispensable. They are clear, concise and full of guidance including propagation and disease.

The book has lovely coloured photos and describtions of the plants to help you to identify the plants.

I love these books. So easy to understand and I have learnt a great deal from the series of D.G.Hessian books. So much so, my original ones fell apart hence the replacement purchase.

Used, but in excellent condition. It replaced mine which is more sellotape than paper nowadays, so it was a bonus that this is a second edition

Superb book! All you need to know about bedding plants. Well set out and so helpful.

This book is another one that I need for college so at least I don't have as much to pay.

I really don't know if there is a D.G.Hessayon or if it is just a marketing name used for the series. However, I have several of the series that I initially purchased to augment my searches while doing telephone duty as a Master Gardener. They are well written, nicely presented and have some straightforward answers/suggestions. They are not the expert tomes of some authors, but rather the suggestions of someone (or group of someones) who seem to be gardeners.
