For a blended whisky this is a great one in this price range, you can't go wrong with this.

I certainly enjoy the odd dram, well several drams really. My favourite type of Scotch is Islay malts, but that is considerably more expensive. So, on a daily basis I generally drink "cooking Scotch" : Bells, Grants, Whyte & Mackay, etc. Johnny Walker, I remember being around when I was a kid (and dinosaurs still ruled the Earth), so I just guessed that it would be a bit pedestrian. However, on a recent trip to the supermarket, bottles of "red label" were on a very good offer, so I bought some. I was really impressed by it, in fact it is my go to blended Scotch now, it is delicious.

Not much of a drinker but I appreciate the taste and experience of this warming whiskey

Brought this as an Xmas pressie for my borther-in-law in 2023. It must have been good as when I went to visit in Feb of 2024 it was gone so I didn't get any, sad times!
