Good stuff
I have an Echo SRM 410U weed eater that has performed beautifully for 3 years. I have been using Echo .105" Cross Fire string with a bump head that has not lived up to my expectations on heavy stemmed weeds. In an hour of use I was having the string break off about 12 times inside the head which leaves broken pieces of string all over the place and is a big interruption to work. I contacted Echo (not responsive or helpful customer support) and was told that the string that I had bought this spring might be old making it brittle. They recommended I soak the string in water. The vendor that I purchased the string from assured me that it was not old; that they have a high product turnover rate. With soaking the string the breakage rate did maybe drop by 1/3 but was still a major hindrance to work. I decided to go to a fixed head and purchased an Echo Rapid loader head that was rated for up to .155" string. I also purchased Cyclone .155" string. The Rapid Loader head turns out to have a rapid unloader mode where the string flings off. I took the rapid loader apart and it doesn't look to me like it was designed for string larger than .105". I am returning my Echo Rapid Unloader. I have admired the Oregon chain saw bar and chain products and ordered the Oregon 55-130 fixed head for my weed eater. It is made of metal, simple and reliable. I put 18" of the Cyclone string in the head and it lasted for about one hour of extra heavy duty weed eating. After one hour I am ready for a break anyway. I highly recommend the Oregon head and the Cyclone .155" string for heavy duty weed eating.

Best line I have found and I have used quite a few.
I first used this line on an Echo weed whacker. I late got a DR Trimmer and tried the various lines they offer for it and others. However, none of them work as well as the Cyclone Desert Extrusion. It cuts well and lasts longer.

Use this on my Remmington push trimmer and it's awesome!
I think this string wears a bit faster than the string that is made for my Remmington push trimmer but for the price you cannot beat it at all. What I did was take one of the lengths made for my push trimmer, grabbed this spool, wire cutters, and sat down in front of the tv and cut lengths of this as watching tv. Before I knew it, I had a HUGE pile of them and barely put a dent in this spool! Freaking amazing! It works really good though- my trimmer eats right thru weeds almost as tall as I am with this stuff and doesn't slow down at all! Definitely will buy again if I ever need more in this lifetime... I have a 1/3 of an acre at my house and it's a huge yard but this stuff is still lasting forever. Haha. Please note- this stuff breaks off as it wears down. So once done trimming go around and look for lengths of it to keep dogs and such from eating it. It's neon colored so it's fairly easy to spot.

Best quality and life time supply
Why pay $20 for 75 ft. if I can get 315 ft. for $30? The question is, is the quality equal to the more expensive stuff? The answer is, yes and maybe a little better. I got this at the end of season for next years use, but I had to try it anyway. I used this line on a gas powered Echo weed eater. Farther out from where I usually mow was some heavy brush and pasture grass. The brush stems ranged form 1/8 to 3/8 inch diameter. I cut quite a bit of this stuff, and used about 1/4 tank of fuel. This amount of mowing would normally show some line ware. In this case the line cut as well or slightly better and had no noticable ware.I noticed in another review that the line was only.095 inch diameter. They may have received a mismarked roll, but my roll is .155 inch. When compared to the more expensive line I can see no significant visual differance except for color.I would recommend this line for any use and would buy the product again excpt that 315 ft. more than a life time supply .

BEAST!
This line is amazing.I can't believe the difference between this and the pre-cut stuff that came with the machine. I had to replace the pre-cut stuff after mere minutes. I used at least 6 in 20 minutes.I used this Cyclone line for the first time today. I cut about 10 lengths so I would definitely have enough with me to finish.I never had to replace it! I even got stuck up against some cement structures and was sure the line would be toast. Nope!Plus this line seems to be a fraction thinner than the pre-cut and its much easier to thread in.I'm so thrilled.
