What did I just read!?
Sometimes you read a book and you think to yourself, "this author is literally MEANT to be writing books." That's how I feel after finishing this duet.I don't want to write too much in my review because this twists, turns, emotions, shocking reveals, and pain that is packed in this book, in this duet, is truly best experienced blind. EVERY TIME I thought I knew what was happening/what was going to happen next I was INCORRECT!This duet is NOT for the weak of heart. Even more than book one, this book deals with some HEAVY situations and themes. I have next to no triggers and I gasped SEVERAL times. But I do think if you can handle like DARK romance, Gigi handles these dark themes PERFECTLY. You get to be shocked, hurt, flabbergasted, but not like in a way where you feel like you can't even read it anymore. I don't know if that makes sense hahaOur MMC Xero... He is EASILY one of the most me coded MMCs. I LOVED him this entire story. He's obsessive, dominate, calculating, dangerous, and insane. But, he was also loving, romantic, patient, understanding, selfless, and puts the d!i in touch-her-and-d!e. (Seriously... the body count in this book is WILD haha)Amethyst, the FMC, is the definition of a survivor. She's not perfect, she irritated me SEVERAL times. But she also goes THROUGH IT. She is the type of strong FMC that had to gain her strength trial by fire.Together these two... THESE TWO. This is the most beautiful, unhealthy-yet-super-healthy romance I've potentially ever read.Gigi has made a FAN out of me and i will be reading her entire backlog and all her future books stg.

What a unique heroine
I loved this book. The first one was pretty good! I loved watching Amethyst slowly unravel and then put herself together again. Xero was cool, but it was Amethyst I loved by the end. I read the set on impulse because I've never read a book where the character has my name. It's crazy because we shared a very similar childhood minus the mafia stuff. The author astounded me when she wrote the experience I went through with complex ptsd and memory loss. The brain does incredible things to help you survive. This was cathartic to read for me. This second book was everything needed to give both Amethyst and Xero the happily ever after I wanted for them. Thank you, Gigi for this beautiful story. It was everything I've ever wanted in a romance novel. And a whole lot more! Talented writing and I completely recommend as long as you read the trigger warnings. It's not like other books that say they have trigger warnings but it turns out to barely graze the surface. Oh no! When Gigi warns you it means the topic will be thoroughly explored.10/10 from me.

Good ending, good book. This one was very good
I really like the engine of this series or this duet. Also, awesome job on the mail narrator oh my God, his voice with the growl he should be getting work like every day. The man will vibrate female body parts. I enjoyed this one. It was really good at the end. It had a lot more action and and I'm glad for once. In this book, the villains actually got what was coming to them, not a quick shot in the head. The father got tortured, just like he tortured everyone else. And it was a long time coming. So awesome, awesome, awesome on doing that. I love the way the the twin, the evil twin died, it was. It was great. This was a very good ending, I will re-read these 2. Awesome job

insane, but pursue it!
The first time I started this Duet, I crashed at 32% and called it insane. After a few days, I deleted my Insane review, and decided to continue reading. I’m really glad I did that. Yes, the first 35% of the book is insanity. However, it eventually breaks into something else entirely. I have read a number of books that cause me to be a firm supporter of stopping human trafficking; this Duet goes beyond that. It is ruthless, brutal, and very descriptive. The bizarre romance entailed within the story is equally ruthless and descriptive, not to mention intense. This Duet is not for the weak, read the triggers carefully as every one is included sometimes frequently, but if you can get past them, it is a great read.

FANTASTIC
The writing in this series is phenomenal the story is phenomenal and the spice is 10/10. Absolutely be weary of the trigger warnings the descriptions of SA and other things like that are graphic and can absolutely be triggering. Both books in this series were quite a twisted adventure and keeps you on your toes the entire time

Amethyst and Xero
Gigi does it again! Xero & Amethyst are completely unhinged, traumatized, deranged and perfect for one another!Amethyst finds herself back in the hands of Delta, and the torture and torment she goes through is gut wrenching. She slowly learns more about her past in this book, and holy moly! She literally has been through it all!Xero saves the day though, and helps her not only overcome her mental trauma, but also serve vengeance to those that did her wrong.Read the content warnings and take them seriously. Gigi doesn’t write cute little rom coms. Her books are packed full of dark material and may be triggering to some. But man her stories are amazing!!!

I Will Mend You
These two books were very creepy, but I did enjoy them. I will say that I enjoyed the torture of the ones that hurt others.
