Not a high security safe, but reasonable security for the price.
Think of this as really more of a lockbox designed to keep curious children and nosy adults out, but not a bank vault that will defeat a determined burglar or keep out a malicious attacker for long. For such a low price, you can't really expect much more than that, but I do think this was worth the money, despite a few annoyances. A good lockbox like this is still better than hiding things in places you hope people aren't going to look.I'm glad that it was able to fit everything that I wanted it to fit. A Plano 147080 Extra Large waterproof ABS case, 13.88”L x 9”W x 5.13”H, which is about the same size as their 3700 series boxes, will fit sideways through the door and under the shelf with enough room to turn it so the long edge faces the rear of the box, and the door closes properly. This means I can lock up equipment without having to first remove it from its storage/transport case, and then find a place to stash the box while the equipment is in the safe.I'm not sure that having two extra internal lockable compartments that use two different keys is really all that useful, nor do I think a "fireproof document bag" is particularly useful when the safe itself is not fireproof or waterproof, but I suppose it might have its uses. The document bag, by the way, is too large to actually fit in the bottom compartment, which makes me scratch my head even more. The directions included with the safe are terrible, as is the mounting hardware (four flimsy expansion bolts that are metric, so to even use them, you need a 10 mm drill bit...the closest SAE sizes are 25/64" (9.9 mm) and 13/32" (10.3 mm), and those are not exactly common. In any case, those expansion bolts are useless for mounting to wood; you will need 1/4" lag bolts for that.If you are mounting to concrete, don't even bother with the included hardware, just go to a good hardware store and get proper concrete anchors. That being said, the process of installing concrete anchors and then attempting to lift the safe up and over the three bolts is nearly impossible for one person to accomplish. Be prepared to set up props/jacks, and maybe get at least one other person to help.Getting back to the setup directions, the directions make almost no sense; in places the directions are actually completely incorrect, but I was able to figure out the operation of the electronics, eventually. The safe is oddly capable of accepting two different combinations. I could understand the point of this if the safe had access accounting, so you had a record of who opened the safe when, but it doesn't.The fingerprint reader accepts up to four fingerprints, but the registration process is a little opaque. Once registered, the fingerprint reader seems to work well, and accepts the fingerprints in multiple orientations. If you need to have two people access the safe, register two fingerprints for each person, one on each hand, and store the emergency access keys in two different locations, preferably with at least one, if not both, off-site.I would highly advise using Energizer lithium AA cells for the safe's internal battery box, because they will not leak the way alkalines often do, corroding the terminals and rendering the electronics useless.Because the safe has an emergency access key, you cannot keep the emergency access key inside the safe, if you want to be able to use it, so you will have to find yet another secure place to store the two emergency access keys. Given the fact that the safe has an emergency access key, I would recommend not even bothering with the external backup battery box, since the emergency access key bypasses the electronics entirely, unless you have the emergency access keys stored off-site in a place where you might not be able to access them at will (like a bank's safety deposit box).I hope my experiences are helpful for other considering purchasing a product like this.

VEVOR Fireproof Safe – Affordable Security with Premium Features
I recently added the VEVOR Fireproof Safe to my home, and it’s honestly one of the smartest purchases I’ve made for protecting valuables. VEVOR has a reputation for offering reliable products at great prices, and this safe is no exception.Right out of the box, the safe feels sturdy and well-constructed. The reinforced steel body and secure locking mechanism give it a strong presence—this thing isn’t going anywhere without a fight. It’s fireproof and waterproof, which really sealed the deal for me. The safe also has dual alarm system which is even better security. Knowing my documents, cash, and small electronics are protected from both theft and disaster offers a huge sense of security. The digital keypad is intuitive, easy to set up, and even includes a backup key for emergencies. Inside, the layout is surprisingly spacious, with adjustable shelves and a soft interior lining that helps protect delicate items.Aesthetically, it’s clean and modern. It blends in nicely in my home office without drawing unnecessary attention. Plus, it’s compact enough to fit into a closet or cabinet, yet still provides plenty of storage. In short, the VEVOR safe combines affordability, function, and peace of mind. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for real protection without breaking the bank.

Needs key, rickety, lock mech doesnt work well, not nice!
I will have to buy a hasp, drill bits and new lock to use the shell of this thing, (or just toss it?) the lock is almost impossible to open without key, and even then it is hard.

Works well, except I can't get the code changed to a personal one, although O have tried many times.
